There you go again... fools don’t recognize when they are being foolish. isn't going to gain you any support with the folks you consider fools, that happen to disagree with you on this election.

I disagree with you about this election. I will not vote for the liberal with an (R) behind his name.

I don't call those that disagree with me fools, or foolish.

You do what you have to do. I'll do what I have to do. But in 2 years, I'll remember the name calling. And be less inclined to work with them, since they can't control their rhetoric.

You know, I’ve NEVER been one to react well to attempts at bullying. And I don’t react well to threats, whether overt or veiled. I certainly NEVER allow myself to be intimidated.

Please remove me from you Dewhurst ping list.

Done. You are removed.

I was not attempting to bully or threaten, unlike those Romney supporters that call people names and then deny it.

You do as your conscience and principles dictate, I won't call you any names.

I'd like the same respect.

It was a rumor, not a fact, maybe wishful thinking for many who are totally fed up with both parties.

You just can’t win with some people.

Once upon a time, in the First Funamentalist Baptist Church of OurTown... the preacherman asked if anyone harbored hate in his or her heart? Most raised their hands, some woke up and said "AMEN!"

Then the preacherman asked if there was anyone in the congregation that didn't have an enemy.

Ole Miss Grace Hopper stood up with help from the younger geriatrics and said "I don't".

Preacherman told her to come to the podium and explain how she could live to be 94 and not have an single enemy.

With deacons and the old lady crowd helping her, she made it to the podium.

She leaned into the microphone and said "I OUTLIVED THEM BITCHES!"

And she sure spoke some hard truth with that eloquent statement. Amen and amen.

Your false dichotomy leaves out the option of a free American, striving for a goal out of his reach, in accordance with the laws of the land.

I was laughing my butt off the other day when I saw one of the MittBots posted to someone else they they were tired of being called names like “mittbot”, and that it was rude and uncivil.. THEN, the poster (in the same post) turned around and called the person he was posting to a stupid idiot... or something along those lines.

I don’t even think they realize how hypocritical they are.

Willard’s daddy’s grasp of history was “interesting.” The Whigs weren’t destroyed in the 1840s, but came apart in the 1850s because of the pro-slavery and anti-slavery positions. The Cotton Whigs had no use for morality (much like the GOP party establishment today). Georgie, of course, would’ve been agitatin’ on the side of the slavers, telling the emancipators to shut up. Then again, Georgie never had much use for those Conservative folk concerned with morality and freedom. He passed that trait on to junior.

Don't you just love the way the "moderates" always try to paint Reagan as one of their own after they savaged him for being an extremist right winger when he was alive.

ok Mr. Conservative.....

answer me this one..

how can a principled conservative such as yourself, possibly champion ( I did not say hold nose and vote, but champion ) someone who has acted, not spoken, but acted against EVERYTHING that a conservative stands for, and acted FOR everything that a conservative stands against...

Now, if you want to come on this forum and ask that we who are dead set against socialism hold our collective noses and vote for this here socialist, that is one thing...

But, to champion this traitor to every one of our causes makes you a non-conservative at best, and a solid republican supporter (gop-e) at least, or a socialist who just recently joined this site at worst...

If you want me to hold my nose, swallow my vomit and vote for this guy, then at least have the balls to say just that...

To write positive things about this socialist plant outs you for all to see..

Like I said, go away

I’m still here. And thank you for calling me Mr. Conservative—you’ve correctly identified my essence.

Let’s all toast to an upcoming 2013 US Senate led by the Republican majority with its many NEW CONSERVATIVE members reinforcing its CURRENT CONSERVATIVE members. Good things may happen if we have numbers of CONSERVATIVE Republican Senators sufficient to dominate the “moderate” Republican Senators in the caucus. That’s my hope, although I’m pragmatic enough to think that we may not complete that mission until the 2014 elections.

And let’s all toast to an upcoming 2013 US House with its 2010 crop of new Tea Party representatives greatly reinforced with a 2012 crop on new Tea Party representatives. That will result in the House becoming even more conservative (hopefully with more conservative leadership) and emboldened. Nancy Pelosi and her cohorts will become even more marginalized.

And let’s all toast to having a US president who will actually sign the legislation that the above described 2013 Congress (and its even better 2015 Congress) passes.

I can agree with you on a conservative legislature...

however, take a look at the past 2 years.. the elected tea party house members were at best marginalized.. and the senate did a cave on everything....

I will say that IF we get a republican ( not conservative, the numbers just are not there ) house and senate, do you think they will pass conservative legislation, or will they toe the party line and pass what the party leader (mcromney) wants passed??

as governor mcromney shot down the vast majority of anything even remotely conservative or even moderate that crossed his desk.

he had no problem passing abortion on demand, gay rights, gun control and every tax and spend item that crossed his desk..

like I said, he is a socialist... I do not care what he says, i look at what he does...

i will not sit out this election by any means... I have not missed an election since 1976, and do not plan on missing one (hell, i might even vote after i am dead)..

perhaps I was hasty in my comments to you, but that is because I am sick and tired of people calling names to those that refuse to compromise any longer. I have been compromising since 1988, and have witnessed every conservative be backstabbed and destroyed by the republicans. Just look at what they did to gingrich in 1999.
They destroyed the conservatives and went hog wild for 6 years when bushie was prez. the only president that added more debt and social programs then bushie to date is fubo..

I am naturally suspicious of ANYONE who is willing to champion a proven socialist as a conservative.

and mcromney is just that...

Excellent post. Every salient point well made and articulated and dead on. Good. But the RINO troll of whom you have addressed has his/her/it own RINO agenda to push here and most conservatives here are wise to him/her/it.
