There is no right to preach violence. The first time an imam preaches jihad, shut the mosque down.
Despite the rulings of a couple of Leftists judges, there is no Constitutional right to a parallel sharia law system either. Congress can pass legislation to preclude judges from allowing implementation.
States can ban the teaching of all things muslim in public schools.
BTW, Christianity is not only consistent with our Constitution, it is the basis of it.

It's constitutional if it can be shown that islam is not a religion in the meaning or spirit or intent of the 1st Amendment.
That should take, gee, about all of 30 seconds to prove beyond a shadow of doubt - complete with evidence of actual Muslims screaming for murder and agreeing that the purpose of Islam is the complete and utter destruction of America and the ensalving or murder of its population.

Were Islam a religion, your argument would be worth discussion. However, Islam is a culture of desert savages fixated on the 7th Century barbarisms of Mad Mo.
When a soi dissant ‘religion’ has core beliefs which are antithetical to the Constitution, and also irreconcilable to the Constitution - then, said ‘religion’ can and must be removed from America.
PS A strong case can be made for removing Islam from the face of the earth.

The Constitution, including the First Amendment, is not a suicide pact.
The Founders who wrote both the Constitution and the first ten amendments did so with the presumption that those who would live and be governed by its provisions would do so with good will and with an understanding of its principles.
Islamics do neither. Instead, they will use the protection afforded them by the First Amendment to accumulate power until they have husbanded enough of same to wrest control of our nation away from us. And then, the First Amendment, along with the others that follow, will be torn up and something else installed in its place.
We saw the Nazis manipulate the system to gain leverage and power in Europe. Islam will do the same wherever it’s permitted to gain a strong enough foothold.
I don’t for one minute ascribe to what you wrote above.
We either stand up to Islam and stop it — and that includes closing the mosques and perhaps even removing Islamics from Western soil — or, we do nothing (because our own laws prevent us from doing so), and deny Islam’s growing threat among us until that threat becomes so powerful that we can no longer ignore it, or perhaps even stop it.
I say stop them now, whatever it takes.
Yes, this may be “an end justifies the means” attitude.
But it’s EXACTLY the same approach Islam will use to conquer The West.
Moral platitudes and “higher ground” doesn’t work against those who won’t play by the same rules....
“Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” does not work with Islam.
The West had better learn this, and learn it quickly....

It is not a religion, it is a political system inimical the the Constitution, and I propose an Amendment specifically calling this out and delisting it as a religion.
