KISS THE MIDDLE EAST GOOD BYE

How about this.

How about we pack up and come home.

How about we tell them we’re not giving them another dime,

How about we tell them to go screw themselves.p

How about we leave them to live their Stone Age lives with their savage culture and their fanatic religion.p

We’ve been bankrolling and defending any number of Muslim nations over the last decade and where has it gotten us? Our ambassador is dead, our embassies are under attack and our “allies” are shooting us down.

It’s time to take the hint.

It’s time to give them the finger.

We’ve spent years trying to win their hearts and minds. It’s about time we realized they have neither.

It’s about time we realized it’s every man for himself, and America has got to take care of itself.

If they ever crawl out of the Dark Ages, maybe we can re-engage. Until then, to hell with them.

We have in recent days seen protests across scores of nations, people assailing our embassies and burning our flag. Shouting their support for a dead terrorist and waving aloft his flag. Nations we liberated and fund repay us with hatred and condemnation. Soldiers and police whom we have clothed, paid, trained and armed turn their guns upon us in acts of contempt and cowardice.

We have given them our blood and our treasure and they have given us the back of their hand.

And it’s time to cut them loose.

If the Russians or Chinese want to make allies of them, let them try. If we fear Iranian or Islamic expansion, what has anything we’ve yet done done to slow them? It’s all a perfect mess and it’s time to scrape it off the sole of our boots.

Seriously.

This isn’t invective and frustration. This is a policy proposal.

More likely, this is the will of the American people.

Cut the aid, pull the troops, stop the gravy train. Leave the sandbox to the cats.

No more foreign aid for any of them, pull our embassies out of half of them, wave good bye to most of them. We don’t need Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Egypt or any of them. They are a noose around our neck and they want nothing more than to dance on our graves.

It is clear they don’t like us, and are never going to like us. It is clear our foreign policy elicits their contempt, not their respect. Let’s buy oil from the ones we have to buy oil from and ignore the rest. We don’t need them. They serve absolutely no useful purpose.

So kiss them good bye.

Let’s keep our homeland defenses strong, work even harder on intelligence, and do our best to keep them and their suicide vests on their own side of the ocean.

We tried. It didn’t work. Let’s write them off.

The Bush family has been close to that country of crooks for years.

And those two coasts probably use the most oil of all of flyover country. They have the ‘not in my backyard’ attitude. I wouldn’t care if they drilled for oil in my backyard! I would just put white Christmas lights on it and celebrate! Maybe even start a reality show called “Mailbox Money”. /s

I see nat gas as the future, but it will take many, many years to build the refining-fueling infrastructure, vehicles etc to make it happen. We have to get rid of the damned EPA and DOE, first. Then, the Saudis etc and Venezuela can go eat used kitty litter.

It won’t take that long. Refueling equipement is already being installed in a lot of truck stops. Last year 44% of the garbage trucks ordered were speced for natural gas. Congress could speec the process through Senate S 1863 & House Bill 1380.

With the exception of the compressors, the infrastructure meaning the pipelines is already there. Offering tax credits would make it feasible for many more families to install a home compressor for overnight refueling.

Thanks; I didn’t know it’d progressed that far.

What about auto mfgrs? Can internal combustion engines be readily-modified or will all-new engines and vehicles be needed? Gas stations? Will they become obsolete?

Sorry for all the questions. Do you have a URL which explains all the fundamentals & intricacies of this nat’l nat gas conversion?

I just became convinced of nat gas over the weekend, after these ME riots etc - yeah, I know I’m late to the party - that it’s the future for us and the West.

They’ll still come, and we’ll still have to kill them eventually, or surrender and BE killed.

I know nothing about motor vehicles, could you tell me if truck engines or automobile engines for that matter, can be easily adapted to liquified natural gas? Would it be necessary to make changes in the engines? I have heard T. Boone Pickens on the radio talking about putting the country’s trucks on LNG.

Here’s what I found so far. Cost in 4th paragraph:

I’m still poking around; if I find something more concrete, I’ll copy you on it.
