Millions of Americans are faced with tough choices in this economy and millions more find themselves unable to find work and their life savings depleted. At a time when far too many working families are struggling to afford gas, groceries and rising healthcare costs, the Romney/Ryan healthcare plan for America would: 1. End Medicare as we know it - shifting more costs onto seniors and giving tax breaks to big corporations. 2. End Medicaid as we know it - forcing many seniors to be kicked out of their nursing homes. 3. Hand out $4.6 trillion in tax breaks over the next decade to Big Oil, big corporations and millionaires. 4. Take away the benefits of the Affordable Care Act, a law that is now helping more than 100 million Americans afford their healthcare, keep their doctor and ending the worst of insurance company abuses. 5. Leave Americans facing increased healthcare costs, decreased coverage, or loss of healthcare coverage altogether.

It’s an election year, of course the Unions are lying. It is what they do.
I worked for a Union in Minnesota when uber Progressive Paul Wellstone was running. My union took my dues and ran ads claiming Wellstone voted FOR taxcuts!
SEIU taking dues and spending it on the publishing lies in the MSM. I wonder if the members approved of their money being spent this way ??? (/s)
The Kool-Aid drinkers in the SEIU are probably as gung-ho as their leadership.
The objectives of union leadership are not necessarily that of their members, many of whome are bullied into either becoming a member, or face ostracism at home and on the job, and some not very subtle reminders of just who the real bosses are, and it isn’t the employer. The union leadership gets the notion somewhere that they are beyond criticism, and any questioning of their authority is treated as mutiny or insurrection, to be immediately quelled.
A most uncivil authority.
Aren’t unions non-profits? Shouldn’t they fall under the same political rules as churches?
NO UNION belongs in ANY employment in ANY level of Government....taxpayers are NOT the "deep-pockets" that Unions think they should be, and there for the fleecing.
“NO UNION belongs in ANY employment in ANY level of Government...”
And even if they did, they should not be able to spend money to help determine who will be representing the other side in negotiations.
