The GOP didn’t want me on the team. No conservative nominees allowed, no vote from me.

They were warned. Apparently they thought they could do it without me. Maybe they can. Either way I’m out.

I think your priorities are out of whack. I’m a ROCK HARD CONSERVATIVE who puts his COUNTRY FIRST. I vote for candidates that are the MOST CONSERVATIVE I can get.

Not voting for Romney because he isn’t conservative enough is shirking your responsibilites and aiding and comforting the enemy Obama COMMUNISTIC regime. There is no rationalizing this point. This is THE MOST IMPORTANT ELECTION of our times.

You and others like you will bear responsibility for the complete and irreversible downfall of our nation.

None of that stuff much matters any more, not if we are contemplating replacing a Bolshevik with a managerial socialist, even an efficient one. Did you hear him defend RomneyCare yesterday? There will, indeed, be a collapse. There is nothing with which to avoid it or come back from it. Maybe 10% of the last 3 generations have avoided the Public Education system which gives us the same problem that Palestine has i.e. almost no one has any memory or education of how things actually work, of history. There is no intellectual or moral basis for a return to a free market liberty based society. If I thought Romney would actually move to dismantle EPA and DOE(both DOEs) and get the government totally out of the Medical field and the Insurance business, for a start, I would see some reason to vote for him instead of a Constitutionalist or other actual Conservative. It is indicative as to how far down the face of the cliff we have tumbled to understand that, as president in 2013, Romney would actually have the power to do the things needed without the acquiescence of Congress. But then what? That power still would exist. You cannot undo it and it is there and will be used but not for the furtherance of Liberty. It cannot be. The power itself is the negation of Liberty. We are at the point of praying for a Wise King.

Not this year. I won’t vote for a Liberal Mormon statist.

It could be easily argued that Bush I, Dole, Bush II (second term), and McCain were less-than-perfect statists. You're not being consistent, or, you're being particularly hard on Romney. I hope in whatever state you live, you get perfect conservative Representative, Senate, Governor, and other officials. Furthermore, I hope you're a Republican Party operative or contributor, selecting only the most perfectly-conservative candidates for public office.

You think I am not voting for Romney because he is not conservative enough?

Let me correct you. I am not voting for Romney because he is not conservative AT ALL!

But I guess he knows how to get money from Goldman Sachs, so that’s ok then.

All of these guys at least paid lip service to pro-life, small government ideals in their political life. Yes, even McCain, although he crossed a few lines for me but Palin.

Romney? Not so much. That’s the difference. He gave as much lip service as he needed to get the primary and not one bit more. And now he’s predictably walking it all back for the general. After he gets elected conservative chumps will be chumped.

No Romney and we do-over in 2016.

Thank you for your excellent post.

I agree.

In addition, I believe that Romney will be a much better president than many give him credit for. Fundamentally, the criticism of Romney is that he does not hold any principles (particularly conservative principles), but makes choices based on expediency. A difficult assertion to argue against.

However, Romney is a businessman, and as a businessman he thinks business. And businesspeople think in terms of opportunity and risk. I believe Romney senses a huge opportunity here.

Obama as ruined the economy in large measure because of his leftist ideology. Indeed, many democrats understand this. However, he cannot back down now. So, the extreme regulation and anti-business rhetoric continue. The tax increases go forward.

Romney realizes (IMHO) that this presents a grand opportunity to fix the economy: drop taxes, simplify taxes, stop wasteful spending, cut regulations, cut regulations some more, and finally, be friendly towards businesses.

Business people also think risk. The amount of cash sitting on the sidelines by American businesses is the greatest in history. Businesses are not expanding because of risk: they are legitimately frightened of Obama. It is a simple risk-reward calculation. Obama does not understand this. Romney does.

Romney may just hit one out of the park.

It is unfortunate that many social conservatives are so focused on the social issues, that they cannot also factor in the economy.

I don’t vote for socialists. Period. I’ll be voting on other parts of the form, but the presidential section have given me a choice between a socialist with a D after his name and one with an R, that’s not a choice, I pick neither.

They are complicit. If Obama is re-elected, they will be as culpable as the zombie mutants who pulled the lever for him.

I'm so damn tired of this regurgitated agitprop crap from these Romney worshippers.

You know what? FINE.

In your eyes, we're going to be soley responsible for the Marxist remaining in power because we won't bow to your demand to betray our principles and faith to vote for the Massachusetts Socialist who was chosen by Obama and the media for the purpose of making the election seem legitimate.

And we're not gonna vote for Romney. All your bullying tactics simply pushes us further into resolute defiance of your demands we surrender those things more important to us than expedience and fear of NerObama.

Whatcha gonna do about it?

Not a damn thing.

Because you apparent cowards think it's an easier fight to bully Conservatives who won't vote your way than attempt to bully Obama's drones.

But if you want our scalps after November, get in line behind the MarxoFascists and the Jihadists. You'll have plenty of good company there.

The people who are so stupid/clueless as to focus on the similarities of two candidates in order to choose between two candidates are typically too far along on the jack-a$$ scale to talk sense to

These clinical pyschotics are no different than the iranian nutjobs thinking the imam from the sky is going to come down in 2016 and present the perfect conservative candidate.

taxcontrol says:

“I can and will make money under either - so it is not closed for me.”

Under 2nd Term Obamanition you will not make as much money and what you have or make may be redistributed to some “more deserving”.
I’ve read your page, you might be one of those “rich folks” with a light skin that the Obamination is coming after - and he WILL.
