these nit=wits always amaze me. Having lived overseas for 16 years, I can attest that getting a work permit is almost impossible, given the high unemployment rates around the world. Resident permit are somewhat easier, if you can prove that you have an income to sustain yourself. Except New Zealand, which doesn’t even grant Retirement Visas unless you can prove you will be able to contribute to their society.
