The Extreme Makeover of Fox News: Analyst Marc Lamont Hill ["Black Liberation" revolutionary communist]
Accuracy In Media - AIM Column ^ | October 2, 2009 | Cliff Kincaid

Who would plaster his Twitter page with police mug shot photos of convicted cop-killer Assata Shakur (aka Joanne Chesimard)? Fox News contributor Marc Lamont Hill did. At least until David Horowitz and Accuracy in Media took notice and wrote about it. Now the page features photos of boxing great Muhammad Ali. Hill's MySpace page is also gone.

There are other changes as well. The tributes to Shakur and black racist Khallid Muhammad, known as "America's Black Hitler," have disappeared from his web pages. The articles were saved, however, and can be found here.

How does it hurt Gov. Romney? The site was there long before this election.

"Tupac Shakur... Immortalized after his death by rap enthusiasts, college professors and hip-hop intellectuals"

"Tupac Amaru Shakur was born in the East Harlem section of Manhattan in New York City, New York.[3] He was named after Túpac Amaru II, an Incan revolutionary who led an indigenous uprising against Spain and subsequently received capital punishment.

His mother, Afeni Shakur, was an active member of the Black Panther Party in New York in the late 1960s and early 1970s; Shakur was born just one month after her acquittal on more than 100 charges of "Conspiracy against the United States government and New York landmarks" in the New York Panther 21 court case.[4] Although officially unconfirmed by the Shakur family,[5] several sources list his birth name as either "Parish Lesane Crooks"[6][7] or "Lesane Parish Crooks".[8]

Afeni feared her enemies would attack her son, and disguised their relation using a different last name, only to change it three months[6] or a year later, following her marriage to Mutulu Shakur.

Struggle and incarceration surrounded Shakur from an early age. His godfather, Elmer "Geronimo" Pratt, a high ranking Black Panther, was convicted of murdering a school teacher during a 1968 robbery, although his sentence was later overturned.

His stepfather, Mutulu Shakur, spent four years at large on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list beginning in 1982, when Shakur was a pre-teen. Mutulu was wanted in part for having helped his sister Assata Shakur (also known as Joanne Chesimard), Tupac's godmother, to escape from a penitentiary in New Jersey, where she had been incarcerated for allegedly shooting a state trooper to death in 1973.

Mutulu was caught in 1986 and imprisoned for an attempted robbery of a Brinks armored car in which two police officers and a guard were killed.[9]

Tupac had a half-sister, Sekyiwa, two years his junior, and an older stepbrother, Mopreme "Komani" Shakur, who appeared on many of his recordings.

I recall when Brooke made an eloquent speech as to why giving away the Panama Canal was a bad idea--before he voted to give it away.

Jackie Robinson’ would stir the pot up but good.

Although he was a star running back on a good UCLA team, Jackie Robinson never beat the USC Trojans.

Wow! I just saw that the entire wikipedia section on Tupac and his Black Panther/communist/murderous connections that I posted above has since been reduced to the following (I came across it a few years ago and had saved it):

“Tupac has had several family members who were members of the Black Panthers; Mutulu Shakur, the step-father of Tupac, Assata Shakur [Joanne Chesimard], his step-aunt, Billy Garland the biological father of Tupac and Afeni Shakur his mother.”

Why do you say that?

Does Lamont Hill’s list of the 15 most overrated white people only hurt Obama?

I don’t know the measure of overrated. This list seems more of the most disliked black liberal (democrat) people. I mean if Thurgood Marshal is considered overrated than surely Clarence Thomas is overrated.

It seems to me that the overrated ones are the more vocal liberals who attack the system asymmetrically from without while the underrated ones are the modestly subdued who attack the system methodically from within. Louis Farrakhan would certainly be on my list.

FTA: NAACP and its awards show….The oldest civil rights organization in America
Wrong! The NRA is the oldest civil rights organization in America, founded in 1871 - the NAACP began in 1909.
