Gloria Allred rumored to have dirt that will sink Romney campaign

Does outspoken Obama supporter Gloria Allred really have an “October surprise” in the works that will sabotage Mitt Romney’s run for the White House, or is the rumor, first published by the Drudge Report, all wet? Inquiring minds want to know.

Another website named The Red Side of Life, Conservative Musings from New York is quoted as having written:

Don’t underestimate Gloria Allred’s ability to inflict damage. The media will ‘eat up’ anything she feeds them and turn it into an endless scandal. Recall she took down Cain and RINO Whitman with NO EVIDENCE.

Again, the idea that Romney had an affair with the Staples Co-Founder’s wife is rediculously unlikely, given the fact that the same guy is a strong sponsor of Romney’s campaign. All that needs to happen here is he and a few others pretty much call that allegation either false or lacking in any real evidence.

If Romney supposedly advised against abortion, that’s a bad joke, because it would only show that given the time frame of being back before he was even governor of Massachusetts, as a Mormon Bishop, that he actually had pro-life leanings, and some principle to him to try and advise against an abortion. This would be a joke to blow up in people’s faces.

Third, if Andrew Sullivan wants to claim Romney a racist, I wouldn’t take him seriously in the slightest unless Harry Reid also gets called one plus 2, there’s very little place in America where some de-facto segregation regarding race has not happened, so it’s honestly something that sort of fails once it comes to comparison. Then 3) How should one take a church that made a desired change almost 40 years ago as a bigger problem than a church that up until around the most recent election said G%^ D$%^ America, and other doctrine that speaks ill about America and often advocates something not so far-fetched from the nation of Islam. I would rather take Romney over this guy who still shows a lot of the teachings of Jeremiah Wright in terms of how he acts and talks as president of the United States.

And since the media won’t bother to mention that, most American’s will treat it like “BREAKING NEWS”. Crap like this almost cost W the election as well.

The Chicago Tribune probably had no legal basis to unseal Jack Ryan ‘s divorce records either. Nonetheless, they were opened, and Ryan dropped out of the IL Senate race, and obama won.

Meanwhile, the most popular living Democrat is a man who has had many affairs and has committed several sexual assaults on women, some of them violent....

But he has the golden ‘D’ after his name so it’s all good, right?

Allred’s bag of quarters won’t cover what Romney will sue her for.

I doubt she would care as long as she could bring him down.

Okay, if that is what it is, then how in Sam Hill’s name is that going to get any traction? Will the networks be able to explain that story to anyone?

Maybe I’m slow, but unless there was an affair, I’m not thinking what Romney could have said in an acquaintance’s divorce deposition that would be damning to him? Any ideas? Maybe just that he was negative on the woman’s character and thus it plays into the supposed “war on women” thing?

You know, it’s really easy for Romney to put this behind him.

All he has to do is challenge Obama to tell Allred to back off. If Obama won’t do that, then Obama gets this thing pinned on him. A move like that would trap him.

The accusation will be that, in the divorce proceedings between Tom Stemberg and his wife Maureen Sullivan Stemberg in the late 1980s, Romney misled the court as to the value of Staples, which had not yet gone public, so as to benefit his friend Tom at the expense of Maureen.

I’d like her to name the name of her first “husband”, father of Lisa Bloom born 1961.

Bloom writes about her “adventures” with this phantom in her book, “Think: Straight Talk for Women to Stay Smart in a Dumbed-Down World but never names him. Bloom is Allred’s maiden name, and she didn’t marry William Allred until 1968.

I suspect that neither Allred nor Bloom knows who the father was.

What they want is Romney’s testimony on the possible value of Staples stock. He supposedly downplayed it saving his friend millions in the divorce settlement. He knew the company was going to go public and Gloria A wants people to believe he lied about the stock’s potential value. This has been written about many times in the past.

Yes. See my post 57.
