Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan held a rally at a packed Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., tonight. It was a sight to behold:

Red Rocks officially holds almost 9,500 people. There were just a few more ticket holders than could be accommodated:
According to CBS, 25,000 tix were requested for Mitt Romney's appearance at Red Rocks. The Pepsi Center holds around 20,000—

So sad. Waited 2 hours in line and did NOT get into Red Rocks to see our future President Romney. Thousands turned away!!!!—

Drove 500+ miles to Romney rally at Red Rocks. Didn't get in. Don't mind (much). Crowd huge. 1000s couldn't get in. This is a good thing.—

Enthusiasm? You could say that.
Romney/Ryan event in Red Rocks Colorado. More people came than the amphitheater could hold. Momentum grows even more! http://t.co/nhc4hxH5—

Oh, they saw it, SP. Here’s your proof:
Great post. Thanks.
I just watched a video of the rally and really enjoyed it. R & R looked almost overwhelmed with the size of the crowd.
It’s about 1 hour long and available here:

Thanks for posting this, it’s the best news I’ve had in days.
I lost my mother yesterday. She voted absentee last Thursday.
Condolences on your mother. I lost mine earlier this year.
You’re most welcome! Please accept my sincerest condolences on your loss. I’m glad she had a say in this important election. That’s a parting memory you will be able to cherish.
Prayers and condolences to you and your family.

Just watched the rally. Thanks for the link! Awesome signs behind them, Democrats for Romney!!!
That’s a big amphitheater. When I was stationed in Denver in 1964 I went there and saw the Beatles, and Peter, Paul and Mary. Great acoustics.
My sincerest sympathies and condolences to you, both. I lost my Mother in May.
I saw Chuck Mangione there, in 1981. Great concert.
Love Chuck Mangione!
Sorry about your mother, too.
I told Creek this story and should probably put it here too. I registered my mother to vote a few months ago, and had to go see the township clerk in the township where her assisted living place is to get it done. We were looking for her voter registration card from her previous address and found a card saying she was a poll worker a few years ago. The clerk liked that so much, he decided to just go see her himself so she could sign her forms. When he got there, he told her that her room was his old kindergarten classroom. Turns out he was running unopposed, so even though he is a Dem, she voted for him.
Wonderful story, Mrs P.
May all of our Mothers and Father find Peace, Rest & Eternity with our Savior in The Father’s Heavenly House.
