Who To Thank If Obama Wins A Second Term?
Political Realities ^ | 10/29/12 | LD Jackson

Posted on 10/29/2012 4:50:59 AM PDT by LD Jackson

The expert opinions on who will win the election on November 6 and become our next President vary widely. Some believe Mitt Romney has the momentum and will win going away. Other opinions are not so favorable and believe Barack Obama will win. I wish I could answer the question, but my crystal ball is fogged up and I can't tell which direction our country will be taking after next Tuesday. But if Obama does win a second term, who will we have to thank for that blessing? Personally, I have someone in mind and they have promised to be back to rub our faces in it after the election.

Those of you who have read Political Realities know I have no problem publishing comments who dissent from my opinion.I enjoy a good discussion and debate, especially when both sides are respectful in their disagreements. On that note, I received a comment on last Friday's post that I wanted to share with you. I approved it and you can see my direct reply to the commenter at the link. Please note the user name the commenter used to make his/her comment; non racist - for a change.

ok so I am just browsing these one sided hypocritical bunch of lies while wondering how I could be living in a nation so divided by lies. I am not sure if some of you sniffed too much glue as a child or your parents where too misled by a west Virginian or east Appalachian group of infested farmers…. either way I will be back in 10 days to rub the fact that we will have a re-elect of the same president and this phony jerk that says one thing while doing another scurries back into the crevice of slimy millionaires where he belongs. I feel sorry for the one sided losers that monopolize their time reading garbage like this and then allowing their emotions to run rampant. Country was founded and runs better bottom up -not top down. Execs have too much power and need to be stripped of their corrupt lies – Romney is just another Wall Street thief.
As you can see by reading the comment, it didn't take non racist long to get into the personal insults to anyone who is supporting Mitt Romney. Beyond that, he/she is merely repeating the talking points of the Obama campaign. In other words, class warfare, the rich are evil, etc. He also made sure everyone knows what they read on Political Realities is pure garbage and a waste of the time it takes to read it.

I am past getting upset when I receive a comment like this. Obviously, I will never agree with the sentiment declared by non racist. Having said that, I do take exception to the implication that anyone not supporting Barack Obama is a racist. As I told him/her in my direct reply, my disagreements with our current President have nothing to do with the color of his skin and everything to do with his policies and his lack of leadership.

Until recently, this election has been about the economy. Even though that is still the overwhelming concern for many, if not most, Americans, foreign policy has entered into the equation. Every day, it seems we are learning more and more of how the Obama administration failed, in regards to Libya and the attacks that took the lives of four Americans. The information we now have tells us Barack Obama knew the attack was taking place and from the beginning, knew it had nothing to do with the video that took so much of the blame, early on. We know Obama and his administration has been lying about what they knew and when they knew it, and that they are in the process of trying to bury that information. That means we may very well reelect a President that has been lying to us for several weeks. If he will lie about what happened in Libya, what else has he been less than truthful on?

I often wonder if there is hope left for America. In my way of thinking, recent events should automatically disqualify Obama from winning a second term. How anyone could trust him enough to cast another vote for him is beyond my comprehension. If Obama wins a second term, what little hope we have left will be gone. The America we love and hold dear may very well not recover from another four years of Barack Obama in the White House. For that, we will have people like non racist to thank. You'll have to forgive me if I sound less than thankful for their gift of reelecting a man who can not be trusted to serve another four years in the highest office in our country. If that happens, this will no longer be the America I grew up in. Thanks, non racist!

The primaries wrapped up when? Internet says June 28, 2012. That gives July, August, September and October to do what?

Asking Romney to step down to let a real Republican run is hardly bad-mouthing him. He is what he is and can't help it. Alas, we already have one of those guys so it's four more years of a negative experience no matter which one of them wins.

Which means it's very important to make sure he knows ~ whoever it is ~ that there's a serious opposition out there who are not going to accept this leftwingtard pablum as constituting real life. The true believers and party fanatics might put up with it, but not real Americans.

no, your case was that evil mormon haters who date to criticize this prince of the church will put obama into office.

how utterly stupid of you.

obamugabe has his own owning block to do that.

the real problem in any election for the last century has been leftwingtardism ~ under a wide variety of names. sometimes it comes from people who some claim to be republicans. when it does it must still be opposed to the bitter end. there are those who think if the guy parts his gray hair just so he can be trusted ~ but if he's a leftwingtard that simply isn't so. same thing for his running dog lackeys and smiling sycophants ~ they too must be opposed.

SEIU and this group:

These companies have organized as an association to work together to address common issues facing our industry. Current members of the ETC are: Advanced Voting Solutions, Danaher Guardian Voting Systems, Diebold Election Systems, Election Systems & Software, Hart InterCivic, Perfect Voting System, Sequoia Voting Systems, and UniLect Cor...

Government Oversight: There is no federal agency that has regulatory authority over the elections industry according to Brian Hancock, spokesperson for the Federal Election Commission (FEC), and Jorge Martinez, spokesperson for the Department of Justice (DOJ). No agency or organization even has a complete list of voting machine companies. Using a rough estimate, there are about 70 voting machine companies worldwide, with at least 48 based in the U.S.. The FEC lists only 19, the Texas-based National Association of State Election Directors (NASED) lists 16 that are 'industry certified' (which are outmoded and voluntary guidelines), while the IFES Buyers Guide lists about 64 companies worldwide that appear to be engaged in electronic voting. Meanwhile there is one company that is 'flying under the radar' of both the FEC and NASED, that is the Bermuda-based Accenture (formally Andersen Consulting) that has the contract for the online military vote in 2004

The media for acting as lap dogs instead of watch dogs
Those who fell into the entitlement mentality, begging for free stuff, failing to realize they are now slaves to the state
Illegal immigrants, felons and others who should not be voting
Those who organize vote fraud

The answer is simple....

Low information voters, and the corrupt media.

Democracy rewards the lowest common denominator...

The people are happy to vote themselves largess from the government they perceive as responsible for providing that largess.

The spirit of the American revolution, and the American experiment in self governance has dwindled in the large population centers.

This country is at the extreme end of duration for minimal governments providing liberty to a self reliant populace.

God save the republic.

The American voters deserve the blame. Large percentages don’t have the remotest clue about any issue beyond what puts more of someone else’s money in their pocket.

Organized labor is very much a completely rigged game, which is why they have been growing more and more violent as they see their kingdom threatened and laws passed not in their favor. The other group I am less familiar with.

Yet I see these as symptoms of a deeper illness, an illness with which the population at large has been infected, the false idea that 'the world owes you a living'. And that idea has been spread mostly by two things I see in the U.S.: the media and your federal education department.

The collectivists in the U.S. have had a firm control of most of these for almost half a century now.

“how utterly stupid of you.” Really? Anyone who disagrees with you is stupid? Or Un-American as you said in your first reply? You argue just like a Democrat—name calling and personal attacks instead of valid, well reasoned arguements. Democrats also build strawmen and attack them as you just did with your “evil Mormon haters” comment.

Sadly way too many so called Conservatives take an attitude of rooting against this country just so they can claim to have been right all along. They would rather stand on the ash heap of America after four more years of Obama, pound their chest, and declare “See? I was right all along. They never should have nominated Romney.” Of course when they themselves cast a vote for the incumbent by not voting for Romney they become Obama’s “running dog lackeys and smiling sycophants”.

Such people are to be pitied. They are intractable and refuse to listen to reason. Arguing with them is a pointless waste of effort. Please show that you are not such a person by ending your senseless diatribe now.

The same GOP "insiders" who gave Romney the nomination. The same GOP hacks who brought us McCain and Dole. The same idiots who thought it was John "The Human Tear Duct" Boehner's turn to hold the Speaker gavel...

If Zero wins a Second Term, it'll be time for the Grand Old Party to give way to the TEA Party. A coalition of smaller government conservatives and right-leaning libertarians whose #1 job would be to drive a stake through the vampiric heart of bigger Two-party duopoly government.

You posed a strawman about Conservatives ~ i pushed it back in your face.

First rule to observe is that others are entitled to their own vote and the fact they disagree with or criticize Romney does not make them evil. Actually, it's the other way around ~
