• BY JOHN MCCORMACK Barack Obama will be calling on the star power of some celebrities during his final campaign push. The Obama campaign just announced in a press release:

CHICAGO – Obama for America announced today that President Obama will spend the final day of the 2012 campaign in Madison, Wisconsin; Columbus, Ohio; and Des Moines, Iowa, ending his 2012 campaign in the state where his 2008 campaign began. The President will kick off the day in Madison, where he will be joined by Bruce Springsteen, who will perform and introduce the President. The President and Springsteen will then travel to Columbus, where they will be joined by JAY Z, who will follow Springsteen on stage and introduce the President after his performance. The President will end his final day of campaigning in Des Moines, where he will be joined by First Lady Michelle Obama following a third performance by Bruce Springsteen. The President and First Lady will end their last 2012 campaign swing in the state that launched the President’s successful campaign four years ago before returning home to Chicago.

Actually OH/CO does the trick. Based on the massive absentee ballot/early voting in CO and the republicans’ continued advantage (2.8%) today with more than 50% of the turnout in compared to 08, I feel pretty confident calling CO for Romney. As long as indies split 50/50.

OH also looks good based on absentee voting also which we discussed the other nite. One bellwether I’ve been watching is Wood which I’ll post on later.

If this relief concert is what they intend it to be as a free political ad for Obama and politicizing this hurricane relief effort will do just the opposite of what they want.
This will solidify in people's minds that this disaster is Obama's baby and the disgraceful response of the Red Cross and FEMA.....
It will remind people this is Obama's Katrina.

If they turn this into a free political ad for Obama's 2012 campaign ? then it will make Andria Mitchel's and the rest of the MSM's attacks on Romney even more foolish and stupid with them attacking Romney for trying to help those in need in those areas of this disaster.
