Chris Christie has been under fire from Republican insiders ever since he he performed a U-turn and started praising Barack Obama's response to Hurricane Sandy last week.

And now the governor of New Jersey has lashed out at anonymous aides to Mitt Romney who have criticised him for refusing to attend fundraising events for the GOP presidential candidate.

The outspoken figure, a strong supporter of Romney over the past year, described his critics as 'know-nothing, disgruntled Romney supporters' who did not respect the duty he owed to the people of his state......

There are thousands of people all around me that still don’t have power. That is unacceptable! Christie is useless. His fat rear should have been next to Romney because he wasn’t doing Jersey any good anyway. I did not vote for him in the primary. A lot of people voted for him because they said that he was electable. That always works out doesn’t it!

Here’s a question I would like to ask Christie. Now that it is Wednesday and the election is over, is Obama still answering your calls? There are going to be people that are homeless from Sandy freezing to death tonight.

Blaming Christie might be fun, but it’s not realistic. If all it took was for a RINO governor to do a photo op with Obama during a disaster to sink Romney’s campaign, then Romney’s campaign was already a failure. A winning campaign could have easily brushed that off, even with the media working against them.

But instead you had to start your re-election campaign at the expense of Romney’s candidacy. You’re dead to the GOP now. Don’t even THINK of running for president in 2016. Your candidacy won’t even last 60 days if you do. Pig.

Amen to that. He sacrificed Romney’s political future for his own. The funny thing is now he won’t be respected by either side. He’s dead to us and to the Dems he’s a turncoat who will never be fully trusted....idiot

The sooner, the better. I think Obama and Springsteen were laughing behind Christie's back with the phone call!

Christie seems immature in a fat body!

Go ahead and compromise all you want and turn the Republican party into a Christian Democrat party, like they have in Europe. Then, when you get elected, you can try to offer the people enough freebies so that they will keep you in office for a few years before they put the socialists back in.

Have fun with that. I’ll be waiting until it’s finally time to rid ourselves of these commies and take our country back.

Not a word about the fact that FEMA and his own state have thousands of people still out in the cold, with another NE’ster bearing down on them.

Not one word. Not one word about the Red Cross either. I wonder what the Salvation Army has been doing down there. I watched the two respond to a situation in Manhattan once - night and day difference. The SA had blankets, sandwiches, clothes, and people to pray with families. Red Cross had cookies and coffee, and handing out envelopes to those not affected for a donation.

When it all wound up, the SA disappeared almost before you could thank them. Red Cross had their publicist out there taking pictures.

'I do see Christy as being the moderates choice and winning the 2016 nomination."

Christie let a crisis go to waste. He's toast. He has not even performed well under pressure, IMO.

No way this fat turd lives out his term. Just look at him. Bulbous oily fat glob of goo! He’s a millimeter away from a CAD attack! I hope it’s painful. He’ll probably die with his mouth full!

Ann Coulter is STILL schilling for this arrogant, duplicitous, gun-grabbing pro-Muslim thug.

SHE lives in New York or Conn. I live in New Jersey. I think I know him better than HER

Someone else said earlier in the thread, that very likely, Christie will be Ann Coulter’s choice in the next GOP primary season.

Why doesn’t this fat drama queen just shut up and do his job? My governor, Bob McDonnell, keeps his head down and works, and we rarely hear anything from him. Why does Christie feel compelled to run and find a camera EVERY time he opens his mouth?

"So stop thinking the “our way or the highway” and face reality - if we don’t compromise together then a broken and divided Republican Party will have a super tough run."

Mark Levin is eviscerating you moderates right now, as I type. Compromise principles? HELL NO. As Levin just said, there is no compromise with tyranny.
