I guess you haven’t noticed the “civic contract” is gone. Integrity is out the window. “Doing the right thing” isn’t worth the effort. This is what Adams meant when he said the Constitution is for “governing a Christian Nation only.” The “tipping point” we have reached is not the 47% in the wagon it is the 80% that lack integrity.
Excellent letter. If General Petraeus has any integrity left, he will spill the beans, for his country’s sake.
