President Obama Is The Luckiest President In History

I can't help but believe the title to this post is so true. President Obama really is the luckiest President in the history of America. Imagine, if you will, what the reaction would have been if the scandal over CIA Director David Petraeus's affair with Paula Broadwell had broken before the election. What if the scandal had already emerged to show the involvement of General John Allen's involvement with Jill Kelley? If certain sources are correct, Attorney General Eric Holder knew about the Petraeus affair in September, but failed to tell the man who sits behind the desk in the Oval Office. How would that information have played in the public eye, had it been common knowledge?

As always, hindsight is 20-20. I'm not saying Mitt Romney would have defeated President Obama on November 6, had these scandals not been conveniently hidden until after the election. I am saying that Obama has to be wiping his brow and thinking about how closely he dodged the Petraeus/Broadwell/Allen/Kelley bullet. There is every indication that the scandals were purposefully kept quite until after the election, which could only serve the purpose of protecting Obama and his chances for reelection. Couple that with the obvious fact that David Petraeus is the one man who could have destroyed the Obama narrative about what happened in Benghazi and a more sinister picture begins to emerge.

David Petraeus has specifically stated that he issued no "stand down" order to the CIA operatives in Benghazi. He was in line to be called to testify before Congress and he had to have known the questions that were sure to be asked. President Obama and his White House also had to realize the grilling Petraeus would be facing, were he to testify. A scandal that has been hidden for months suddenly comes to life and the man who could have made life miserable for President Obama is out of the picture. He will no longer testify before Congress, unless they decide to pull rank and subpoena him to come to Capitol Hill.

You'll have to forgive me for being a bit skeptical of how these events have played out. Had they broken before the election, it is possible the results would have been different. Probably not, but you'll have to allow me that bit of hopeful hindsight. Instead, the information about what has gone on behind the backs of the American public and the military establishment is slowly leaking out, piece by piece. We now have a President who will be in office for another four years. Obama is going nowhere and neither are these scandals. That will result in four years of brow raising and questions about his fitness to lead our country. That's just what we didn't need, but that's what we have. President Obama really is the luckiest President in the history of America.

Benghazi-gate cover-up continues. MSM caught up in the “seriousness of the charges” against Petraus and co. Our Generals are following their Privates! Ha Ha. POTUS is purging government under the daily cover of smearing propaganda.

I can’t help thinking that something far more sinister is going on here. Something along the lines of these women being Mata Hari types, used to gather intel, control, manipulate, and ultimately destroy these men for political ends. And then replace them with Obama’s people who are beholden to him.

Perhaps I give the administration more credit for cleverness and long term planning than they deserve, but I have the oddest sensation that this is all building up to something.

Getting rid of all the generals; puttting Kerry in as Sec of Def.

The real career military leaders will be gone as they are discredited.

No one will be left to lead the troops when the 2nd admendment is cancelled and the full dictatorship is in place, the soldiers won’t have anyone to follow...don’t worry, the brown shirts first graduating class has been finished. Remember, some of us have said if it comes to this, we’re sure there will be military leaders the troops will follow instead of dictator(s)...well, not if those military leaders are gone by then.

That’s what is really happening.

The one question I do have about that passage of scripture, would it conflict with the one I believe from the prophet Isaiah, about calling “good evil and evil good.” There may be a possible clash there, although Ec Chapter 3 justifies the passage from Amos about “time and seasons.”

This is very insightful — Obama has had an extraordinary skein of good luck, aided by a lapdog, worshipful media and “press”. Just think of the weather this summer; Romney got no convention bounce because he had to cancel a full day of the convention due to a storm, and then a Northeast hurricane the week before the election, which according to polls swung 3 percent of the voters to Obama (his margin of victory.). But if you are a student of history, you’ll remember that political/military types who enjoy extraordinary luck often see the tides of luck turn and wash against them in equal strength.

Why wouldn't Patraeus testify? In fact, given the fact that he's resigned, the Obama regime can no longer claim "Executive Privilege" since he's a private citizen now.

We all have to remember that Obama has a lot of well trained communist like Soros and Jarrett working in tandem to dismantle the country. The administration has been recruiting different czars for 4 years and have continued to put the communist machine together and are about to be firmly in the drivers seat to drive the country over the cliff.

I think it's clear Barry Obama knew of the Petraus affair and knew it would come in handy for throwing him under the proverbial bus. THAT is why he made him CIA chief in the first place, imo. It was his backup plan for middle-east shenanigans.
