Those dreaming of a glorious civil war aren’t thinking things through either.

The feds already have a lot of potential hostages overseas in uniform. They can shut down virtually all energy and communications putting the very young, very old and sick in dire danger inside of a few days. Goods will stop moving and only a tiny minority will have food to last more than a few months and certainly won’t have what it takes to march off for an indeterminate length of time to fight an invisible enemy who only needs to outlast them.

Wiser men are looking at the smart methods the marxists used to put themselves in power and learning to defeat them that way. Bill Ayers tried it the violent way and found failure. He went about it by peaceful means and found great success when no one was looking.

Again, how many B1 bombers does Texas have? I understand your emotion, but secession is a fool’s errand.

Ok you are now on record as saying that you would take up arms against citizens of a state seceding the Union. Such a hero. Fascist.

However, the question of the secession of Texas was put to the Supreme Court in 1869, and the Court already ruled.

As has already been pointed out, the Court is wrong on occassion. Roe V Wade, Inter- Inra-State commerce, gun control...

Secession doesn't have to go into kinetic diplomacy territory. That's up to your buddy Barrack.

Texas has it's own power grid. In fact, one of the largest in the US. They are also a net exporter of beef cattle and crops. Tech industry? Oil production? Port authority?

Look, you are on the side of Obama and the FSA on this one. We get it... No need to belabor he point.

Texas is being over-run partially because of that Glorious People's Socialist Union you insist they must remain part of under pain of death...

Nice going Ace.

Where can I sign up for the New American Revolution and the Crusades 2012?

You could start by signing the petitions.

How far do you live from Appomattox? For most Americans, the War of Northern Aggression ended Apr. 9, 1865.

Isn’t it great how Barry has brought this country together?

States suing the Fed over Obamacare. Citizens asking for secession from the Union. Class warfare. Increased race tensions. Well... at least we all get to suffer under higher taxes, enslaving debt, less security, failing schools....

(I say “most Americans” because Texas didn’t surrender until May 13, 1865, and some Americans have never accepted Lee’s surrender no how.)

I’m sorry to be rude, but what a bunch of cowards. And you wonder why we’re losing

Cowards is an understatement.

Conservative ya read about here, who are self described conservatives, generally run from liberals and they continue running and then bitch about the liberals in their new states or towns. Many are the first to give up the best, to settle for less. Fighting or taking a stand is completely foreign to many of these people.

When I saw that many people march on Washington in 2010, I was heartened. At this point I think law suits and independent investigations paid for by the PACS might be the only way to fight back.

You know what? If a state wants to secede, what do they care what the Supreme Court says? It’s just all a bunch of words by people whose opinion means nothing.

It just irritates me that these clowns get a stiffy over the idea of secession but didn’t even bother to vote in downticket races for things like college administrators where the creation of marxism in America begins.

Hell, they should be running for those down ticket offices if they really want to make a difference. Even starting at the school board level. The keyboard commandos think they are doing something by signing an online petition. Quite funny and sad really. Reminds me of people on Facebook thinking they are actually saving children by sharing Kony pictures.

They are. Not something seriously effective, but even an avalanche starts with just a few flakes deciding to shift...

Down ticket offices? Have you tried talking with your State GOP folks? Give it a shot and let me know how entrenched and averse to change your local political structure is.

Not yet. But even the Founding Fathers tried everything they could to redress their grievances with the Crown before engaging in hostilities.

sarc. I know... Let's do things YOUR way. The way we've ALWAYS done them. Let's NEVER try anything new and always play by the other teams rules...

That'll work out GREAT! /sarc
