The ambassador was not meant to die i bet. Smoke inhalation. I bet all along he was going to be captured without a shot being fired hence the stand down orders. Obama frees him and boom,big positive public relations before the election. If,as is widely assumed we arm arming the rebels in Syria would these people attack us at this time?The whole narrative changed when the 2 CIA men went and engaged the enemy with full expectation of help. This story is likely far dirtier than it;s even being reported.

Trading the blind sheik for a kidnapped US ambassador doesn’t seem like it would have been a big political win for Obama. All the same questions concerning lax security that allowed the successful terrorist attack could also have been asked about how a US ambassador could have been kidnapped.
Some of the actions and inactions by the administration that are supposed to have followed the supposed boshed kidnapping plan do make sense, but trading the blind sheik for a kidnapped ambassador sure wouild not have been a foreign policy victory for Obama. The opposite.
Who’s going to impeach him? Boehner’s House? Who’s going to convict him? Reid’s Senate? Who’s going to put pressure on Congress to do something? The MSM or the Obamaphone nation?
Don’t see it happening.

I doubt anything will happen to jimmah carter the 2nd. Just like billy jeff the media will swarm around and save his butt. When this is all over, repub heads will be rolling and the zero will be standing amongst smouldering ruins.
In a situation like this, the sources need to be named, or point the would be Woodward to someone who can be named. Otherwise the source could be an acid flashback for all we know.

the premise is flawed - trading the blind sheik for our ambassador would COST obama votes, not gain them. seems like a whole lot of risk, and effort for little, if any gain.
i’d buy the secret prison scenario before this one, sorry.
The thugs in Benghazi conducted a “Raid” and not an “Attack”. Why? We know where the Ambassador was at 8:30pm, but after that, we’re relying on what we’re being told. We have some photos of him being drug around by some young men. We can’t tell whether the Ambassador is alive or dead in those photos. Maybe that is by design. Obama kidnapping the Ambassador to trade for the blind sheikh? Doesn’t pass the common sense test. Thugs kidnapping an Ambassador to trade for the release of some of their thug friends in Benghazi? That does pass the common sense test.
You have better odds hoping for a hung over AF-1 maintenance worker.....
Benghazi has no legs. Sorry, but it’s true. Zero is hardly the first POTUS to fudge up something overseas that results in Americans getting killed. JFK had the Bay of Pigs (OK that was pro-US Cubans getting killed). Had he not been assassinated, it’s doubtful that would have been much of an issue in the 1964 election. It is true that one of the contributing factors to Jimmy Carter losing big in 1980 was the botched rescue, but he had a lot of other baggage too. The 250 Marines being killed during Reagan’s pointless involvement in Lebanon (where we had no business) didn’t keep him from clobbering Walter Mondull a year later. And, finally, W’s (or rather Rummy’s, but we know where the buck stops) bollixing the early stages of the Iraq war (which got many, many more Americans killed than the 4 in Libya) not only didn’t get him impeached, but he still squeaked out a victory over Kerry. So this too, will pass.

OK. Let’s have some proof of any of the assertions made here. HOW do we know any of this happened. Even the sodomy claim, is there any basis for it? I watched the Fox News replay of what happened in the attack. The ambassador was overcome by smoke in the building, and was found some time later and taken to the hospital, but was pronounced dead when he got there.

Saw this before, but I do believe it is likely, at least in part, true.
The smoking gun here is the security unit that was REMOVED, and not replaced, just before the attack. That unit requested to STAY, past their deployment, when they found out that they would not be replaced.
What could possibly explain this? (That they didn’t want U.S. security there on 9/11). Because they didn’t want any U.S. collateral damage. The CIA (former seals) heroes messed up their plans. The oil fire they set accidentally killed Ambassador Stevens.

Give up, because the Senate will never convict. Hell no, we won’t do the right thing because the press will just cover it up. We should all just shut up and let the bad guys win. Oh, and pay your taxes on the way out.
Seriously? Have we lost even the urge to fight the good fight, despite hopeless odds? Have we lost our values so completely that it’s not even worth the effort to point out wrongdoing?
I once heard a saying, attributed to a German soldier from the First World War, in which he said that when the situation became hopeless, the British would become hopeless, too. And the French would surrender. But when things got desperate, the Americans fought twice as hard and never gave an inch.
Impeach the traitor. And if the Senate won’t convict, impeach him AGAIN on a different charge. And again! AND AGAIN!!
