Bobby Jindal wins Turkey of the Year Award
Bayoubuzz.com ^ | November 23, 2012 | Jeff Crouere

This self-promoting, narcissistic presidential aspirant did not even let the dust settle from the 2012 presidential campaign before he was hurling insults at Governor Romney. In the immediate aftermath of the election, Jindal made headlines for referring to the Romney campaign as “stupid.” He made a very public point of saying that he rejected Romney’s analysis of the election that Obama won by giving large “gifts” to certain minority groups. He called the remarks “insulting” and said that the Republican Party cannot win by demonizing people.

You are off-base in this type of attack on Gov. Romney. While his campaign was not as efficient and effective as it might have been, he has moved very substantially to the right, since he left the Massachusetts Governorship. Failing to give him credit for that; and attacking him as Jindal did for correctly pointing out that Obama has effectively bought votes, does not help Republicans come together in the future.

We need a period of healing; not to let Republican "Liberals" move us to the Left, but simply to help other Conservatives reflect, pray, take stock, and prepare to go back into the lists. For some suggestions as to how the Romney campaign could have been greatly improved, in a clearly very Conservative direction, Obama Or America--Clarity On Irreconcilable Differences.

We are all upset about the immediate prospects; we all need to agree to resist those who have lost sight of what the very object of "winning" is all about: Preservation of the culture of the Americans who pointed us in the most successful path in human history; a path based upon individual responsibility, multi-generational pursuits, both spiritual & material; the pursuits of strong families (not the substitution for the family being promoted by Obama, the Media & very, very confused agitators, today.)

A "broad tent" is only acceptable, if it is not a tent confused as to its direction. In the latter case, "winning" really means losing everything.

I’m no Jindal fan but he’s right. Mitt’s 47% comment cost him votes and didn’t have an upside.

It's what happens when a person with no core beliefs, tries to say something he thinks will go over well with the conservatives. He believes that conservatives are like the caricature that the Left feeds everybody.

I have heard some good things about Jindal, but his attack on Romney was a cheap shot, over a subject where Romney was correctly identifying part of the corruption that we have to deal with.

Frankly, we need to address the definite conflict of interest, in even allowing people who receive unearned benefits from Government, to even vote for any level of Government that is in a position to buy their votes.

If you think addressing that problem is "liberal," you have a different definition than mine.

Totally off base, we take Romney for who and what he is and always has been, a hard lefty.

Sane people do not let a life long political animal, and politician, at age 60, simply reverse his entire life’s politics and passionate beliefs, to start a campaign for national office, and simply accept it as time to make him the leader of their movement, that he has always opposed.

Romney’s legacy will be fame in the history books for losing to Jimmy Carter’s second term, for only winning a single term in political office, and for gay marriage and for Romney/Obama care.

He is the first openly pro-abortion, pro-homosexuals in the military, pro-homosexual Scout leaders, anti-Christian cult leader nominee in history.

Romney should not be the one talking now. He lost the election and his right to speak about how things should be. He is so over and we need to stop making him out to be some great politican. He isn’t. He is a liberal snake who stole the primary and then got his a$$ handed to him by Obama of all people. You know you suck when you lose to the worst President after Carter.

Great post. By any chance were you listening to “Rush” today? Doug urbanski (sp?) was on there and I found myself saying “where was this guy before the election?” He was spot on! Talking about how if you want to beat the alinskying left and their media in a battle (election), you have to Actually Show Up and get around the media. Then he showed several brilliant ways to beat the media, and mentioned how herman Cain did one of the ways (before his candidacy was derailed).

One was: have a short, sweet, viral talking point. Cain had 999. As Urbanski explained, it almost doesn’t matter what your plan is (though it should be a good conservative plan); it needs to be spread around, mocked by the opposition, but gotten into the average joe’s brain, and make a lot of people start thinking about it. Could it work? Even those who say it could never work were talking about it. To rise to the level of getting mocked on SNL means your plan is getting out there.

This is how you get right over the media. Make them work FOR you. A 59 point plan or whatever is BS. Urbanski ran through a bunch of other easy points one could use, including “term limits.” If you decided to run on this, get the bums out, then the media falls in and starts broadcasting that we need experienced politicians, etc. but the average joe will think about it and wonder if we really need the Harry Reid’s, or even the republican entrenched... It has thus gotten around the mouthpiece media.

He also criticized the Romney camp For not fighting the fight: Romney could have won if he answered Obama’s negative ads (85% were) in the battleground states. GO NEGATIVE ON YOUR OPPONENT OR DON’T RUN. I’d like to have McCain and Romney show me the science behind darker skin meaning a greater person, because both of them clearly believed it. Romney must have felt Gingrich was pasty enough to go negative on.

Your attitude makes no sense. Millions upon millions of Americans have been misled by the Left--Americans of all ages. If you deny the ability to persuade some of them to accept the reality--the reality that Leftist theories simply do not work for the benefit of anyone but demagogues & scoundrels;--you postulate a situation where we can only continue to lose.

We have to convert people to our side. Insulting those who not only claim to be converted, but argue accordingly thereafter, is not a method that will work.

Romney exudes a strong love of family--traditional family. That, too, is totally inconsistent with the nasty picture that you paint. (Family, after all, is the basic building block of a Conservative social order.)

” . . .demand that Hawaii share their public records . . ..”

Irrespective of BHObama’s place of birth, the fact remains that his father (assuming the Kenyan was his father), was not ever a citizen of the U.S.A.

Is Jindal U.S.A.-born? If yes, were his parents U. S. citizens at the time of his birth?

Again, I agree that the Romney campaign should have used the media differently (Obama Or America.)

But there is nothing wrong with a candidate who put the effort that Romney did into this election, offering his analysis of what happened.

As for Obama? By what metric do you suggest that Jimmy Carter was worse? I have very serious problems with some of Carter's policies; but he did not hate America. He certainly never sat in a church for 20 years where the Pastor "damned" America!

“Hasn’t done much about the sinkhole yet . . .”

Would that be the sinkhole in the city of NOLA, which presumably now may have a mayor capable of decisive thought and action, not hamstrung by indecision, waiting for the governor or the president of the U.S.A. to do his job?

But the media is just one threat that needs to be overcome. There is also massive voter fraud. face it this is now a communist dictatorship. The Obama communist stole the election with massive voter fraud. All stalinists like Obama have done this, chavez in Venezuela etc. Chavez has elections too and obama did better(99% of vote) than Chavez in many Ohio and PA counties like Cleveland ,Philly etc. This piece of crap communist Obama is in the process of making us slaves to the government , taking away our freedom.

Urbanski was pretty good. He should be the campaign manager for the the next GOP candidate.

Cain, Palin, Martinez they all also break the liberal media matrix.

The thing Romney , Mccain had most of all against them were they were white males. We cannot run another white male. Cain is great , so is Palin. The media has brainwashed hispanics, black , women to make them vote for the democrat party. To run a white male just confirms the media lie in voters minds that the GOP is only of white males for white males. The media wanted to run against a white male and so the media knocked out Cain, Palin, Bachmann etc. And even better they got a rich white male . I don't know how many independents and democrats I talked to that said they voted for Obama because Romney was only for the rich. They wouldn't have been able to do this against Palin so that is why the media demonized her so much.

LOL, what nonsense, Romney did not grow, or learn conservatism over a period of time.

Romney was a hard lefty, and then switched to run for president.

I don’t think that you even know what his politics are.

You would argue that Mitt Romney became pro-life over time, that he learned the truth, when did that happen? why? what changed in his life, what was his epiphany? What is Romney’s current position on abortion right now, as we post to each other, do you know?

You are right about voter fraud. We would need to go beyond the media into Americans’ heads over that as well.

Something like “should either party be able to commit voter fraud?” And then talk about it somewhere where the media would be forced to cover it. Make people think. Is it fair if one party does this or that.... What if the republicans got 100% of the vote in many precincts, is that even possible? When has it ever happened? Just a short sweet little query, then mention where such things happened in 2012.

It is a travesty that we are not allowed to demand of our president, WHY THE SECRECY OVER YOUR BACKGROUND? Why the fake docs, etc?

We are slaves and our republican leaders keep us down. You are right. And urbanski should run the RNC and any major campaigns. This is a dirty fight. Why are we wearing silk panties wringing our clean hands on the sidelines? Let’s get dirty.
