The "Bush Tax Cuts" were a tax deferment.

Absolutely correct. Right on.
Actually, I believe the GOP had to accept the “sunset” terms in order to get the reduction in rates.
And .. please refer to them as “RATES” - they were not tax “CUTS”.
However, the GOP should have taken care of the issue a long time ago.
Of course the Bush Tax Rate Cuts increased Tax Revenue by 35% from 2003 to 2007, but I heard only ONE Republican mention that little fact before the Election, Fred Thompson.
He told the Party to remind the American People that during most of the Bush Term we had increased Tax Revenue, 5% Unemployment, 4% GDP Growth, the highest number of people employed and the Deficits were going down, not up.
Amazingly, all that happening after we were told the Country would take ten years to recover from the Financial Impact of 9/11. The Rats own the Media and the Republicans are afraid to say what must be said, Obama LIES, his Rat supporters LIE and the Media covers up the LIES and hides the TRUTH.
Let’s hope they weren’t merely a deferral - if that’s the case, I owe more than 100% of my earnings this year to catch up on the deferment.
And you .. are also absolutely correct.
There is such a thing as “free speech” .. but it is not valid as such when you use it as “propaganda”.
Repubs never seem to get that. I am conservative enough to know propaganda when I hear it. Obviously, most of the elite repubs are not.
But .. most people don’t realize that Boehner was a constant companion with dems - at the dems favorite watering hole. He would smoke and play pool with them. It tells me Boehner is very conflicted between the repubs and dems .. especially when some repubs start sounding like conservatives. Just sayin’.
