I think we would see a whole lot less of the "mental" if, somehow, our culture were able to return to the way it was 50-60 years ago.
E.g., a culture where
- moms stayed home with their small children, and didn't dump them in daycare
- families stayed intact, with a dad in the home, if only "for the sake of the children"
- most people attended some kind of religious services, at least a few times a year.
Sure, God/Country and no alcohol/drug abuse which creates more of these mentally challenged kids. Head Start is full of these kinds of kids more than ever today.
Down the road will be a blood bath IMO.
We also do not need overzealous social workers removing children because of domestic issues, sure sometimes its a valid case but I see an awful lot of violence against Children’s Services lately and the state taking custody of the kids. there is a troubling undercurrent of farming out these kids to foster homes, each being more competitive in getting the kid and then garnishing the parents wages.
I know because they took my son away three years ago and they take most of my paycheck away, and I am fighting to keep him with a foster mother I respect, but the state has another family that is demanding they get my son because they have a better home.
But they also want more money from me to go in their pockets.
And this has been festering inside of me for years, fortunately I prefer to be sane and logical instead of irrational and deadly.
