Yes, the final line to hold off the Federal Tyranny is the States. If the states buckle,then the individuals will fulfill their destiny, and anything could happen then, Civil War, Invasion, Blue Helmets, all kinds of undesirable events, or maybe just a little whimper as the system dies.

Possibly, but how easy could it be extended to a total lockdown without warning?
