Triple Lutz Report--Boehner Helped Cost Republicans The 2012 Elections…Good Riddance
Financial Survival Network ^ | 12/24/2012 | Kerry Lutz

All the mainstream country club “Bow Tie” Republicans are shaking their heads and wondering. “What went wrong?” The answer is really as simple as it is overlooked. In 2010, Republicans were swept into control of the House of Representatives and were within a stone’s throw of Senate control. Were it not for a few candidates who did themselves in as well as being done in by the establishment republican types, there may well have been a tied senate. Just two years later, Obama is re-elected and the Republicans lose ground in the House and Senate. What on earth happened?

Boehner is always referred to as a conservative. But his actions bespeak an entirely different affiliation.

What happened in the Senate was Romney won Missouri and Indiana easily but Mourdock and Akin shot themselves in the foot. Plus Snowe retired and Scott Brown lost in a really red state for minus 4. We should have won FL but did not have a good senate candidate. We should have won WI, why I don’t know. We should have won ND, why I don’t know.

Romney got sunk by Chris Christie, Hurricane Sandy, and by his 47% remark and with spillover help from Mourdock and Akin.

Romney also won in MT but Tester got reelected. Akin and Mourdock may have shot themselves in the foot, but the establishment candidates in ND, MT, VA, and WV underperformed Romney in those states. We need better candidates.

We need better candidates.

How can a guy running for the senate fumble the abortion question? I mean even a casual Rush listener like myself knew that Journ0list Stephanopolus revealed the "war on women" agenda back in January at the first Republican primary debate.

Q: What's your position on abortion in the case of rape?

A: Let me get this right...you want to spare the lives of convicted murderers, and murder innocent pre-born children? BANG !! NEXT QUESTION !!

“The problem was that no one was clamping down on voter fraud

THIS ELECTION WAS STOLEN”.......and the SOB’s are NOT even making an issue of the multiple bizarre instances of voter fraud along the way, to bolster their arguments for cleaning it up in ‘14 and ‘16. Our supposed leaders don’t help us, they just foster a climate of helplessness for Conservatives. gag me

Agreed Boehner is a loser as are most of the so-called pubbie leaders in the congress. It is time for a third party.

"“What went wrong?”"

The House upped the debt ceiling.

I agree completely...and I am not a major boehner hater. He’s ways bed a good congressman but is a terrible Speaker.

His approach last year gave Obama the upper hand on the message for the past year. It became about tax cuts for the rich instead of a discussion on spending.

The "party system" works against libertarian values and goals and works in favor of the socialists because political parties, like the government bureaucracies that libertarians want to dismantle, revolve around their own politics and self perpetuation - what's best for America takes a back seat.

I hate the GOP almost as much as the DEMOgoguebureauCRAT socialist PARTY. How do lovers of freedom and the Constitution win the day outside the corrupt party system? I have no idea.

Maybe the only answer is the return of Jesus Christ who will be the political leader of the whole world. Unlike the socialists regimes and dictatorial tyrants who will have preceded him, Jesus Christ, the "Prince of Peace", will set the world free from tyranny as he has set countless millions and trillions of individuals free from personal bondage and oppression.

Man coming to the end of himself and his failed regimes needs to realize and acknowledge his desperate need for God. The ultimate lesson of mans' sad history of political oppression and misery including the failure of America to sustain its own Constitutional freedoms, is that man, apart form God, is a miserable failure and utterly unable to rule himself, much less others.

Well... no fan of Boehner here, but it wasn’t he who pushed Todd Akin and Richard Mourdock to incinerate their candidacies with tone-deaf comments about rape, losing two Senate contests that had been slam-dunks for the Repubs.

I absolutely despise Nancy Pelosi and everything she stands for.

BUT...

I have grudging admiration for her willingness to lead her side’s fight to gain control of the narrative. None of the leading Repubs — least of all Boehner — have her ability or willingness to attack on all fronts. They would be well-served by watching and learning the dems’ tactics. They play for keeps... the GOPers are just happy to be on the field of play.

you nailed it

I wish Boehner has as big a pair as Pelosi- we would all be getting a tax refund

Or at least Gingrich. HE ACTUALLY balanced the budget (with CLINTON in office, too)

Brilliant, absolutely brilliant. How do you think adding another "third party" is going to gain anything? It won't, it will make matters worse. Now, instead of only needing to defeat Democrats, we'll also need to defeat Republicans or the "third party".

This is a really, really stupid idea. It cannot be done--it's not possible. We already have about 40 so-called "third parties". Thank all those "third party" voters in MN, they are the ones responsible for Obamacare. There definitely was voter fraud in the MN senate race but if those 3,000 voters had voted for Coleman instead of whoever they voted for, we wouldn't be in this fix.

Romney got sunk by Chris Christie, Hurricane Sandy, by his 47% remark and targeted vote fraud.

That's it, right there.

We’ve got to do better than Boehner... Louie Gohmert from TX would be a good choice, IMO.

Real easy to do when the entire media conglomerate (including crappy, schizophrenic FoxNews)is on your side, the schools have been producing ever more indoctrinated zombies and your "message" appeals to emotion only. Appealing to "gimme, gimme, gimme" teenagers as Mom is simple compared to having to be Dad and say:.......No!

Boner funding Obamacare and keeping the spending at hyper speed for his K street pals / Beltway bandits kept the base at home on Election Day !
Boner was given the house to stop Obamacare funding but funded it so his real base the DC lobbyists could keep there funding !

The base was sold out by Boner and they stayed home !
Boner needs to be REMOVED !
Boner killed the voter enthusiasm
In 2012 !
