We are different. We have a different heritage. We are winners. We come from a different place.

I understand the consequences of fighting back. I don’t care - it’s worth it to me. It’s really that plain.

The article is excellent and states the point of the 2nd Amendment and the Constitution in general with perfect clarity, that any government official failing to protect the Constitution is violating their oath and is treasonous. I would hate to have to put my family in danger, but maybe the greatest danger would be to give in if they came for our guns and in effect our Constitution.

Even in 1775 1/3 of the population were loyalists, another 1/3 didn’t want to be bothered and thank goodness the final 1/3 stood against King George.

This same proportion would likely be the same today.

So do I, and I'll be there somewhere firing back myself... but we'll need a great many shoulder-launched missiles, with preferably more than half the US military on our side.

The biker gangs, of all “suspicious” groups, have had the most experience and know-how at resisting infiltration. It takes work, but it can be done.

You stated exactly why they will not go that far as to X the 2nd Amendment and confiscate. Oh, we’ll hear lots of loud talk thinking that’ll scare us, but when its obvious its only making us mad they’ll find something else to “be for”.

Although there may be some in the military or LEO who will go along, most are just as patriotic as are we. The progressives also know this and is another reason this current talk of gun grabbing will grow silent.

It’s not going to start with shoulder launched missiles. It’s going to start - if at all - small. It will be a warning and an opportunity for everyone to cool off and go back to living like they always do.

I once took an oath to defend the Constitution, and it did not have an expiration date. When, and if, an egregious action such as firearm confiscation occurs, that is exactly what I am sworn to do.

AMEN!!!

My feeling exactly. I may not have been a Marine BUT

“ONCE A MARINE, ALWAYS A MARINE”, is a lot more than a statement, it is a way of life, I was USN by choice but I definitely have a ‘USMC state of mind’.

Same brand as I have. Absolutely love it. Mine’s about half that size.

It’s the very last T-65 Cannon made in 2002, and I can walk inside when it’s empty. Make a nice little apartmenmt. LOL. Lots of choice Class III pieces in there, I’ve been collecting since 9-12-01. Every option available. 360k rnds of ammo for 7 calibers, stored externally

***** “I once took an oath to defend the Constitution, and it did not have an expiration date. When, and if, an egregious action such as firearm confiscation occurs, that is exactly what I am sworn to do.” ********

There are many of us and even those that still serve that take that Oath very seriously.

I will repeat from a previous post “I never un-took my Oath”
(if un-took is even a word)

I will hold all that have taken that Oath accountable with the same veracity that I upheld it while I was in Uniform and I expect to be supported by those that took that Oath with me.

How John Kerry stays out of Prison escapes me... how John McCain can wuss out escapes me... all I can do about him is pressure those that can do something... or have the power to do something and support the Swiftboat folks.

TT

Dean needs to look closely at what is sitting on the SCOTUS bench. With Sotomeyer and Roberts on the court, there is nothing in the Constitution that cannot be turned on its head to suit the socialist oligarchs now ruling this dead Republic. The sovereignty of We The People is over, done. You can stick a fork in it, it’s dead Jim.

We like the Navy - anytime we needed to fight, you guys gave us a ride! - Just kidding! I have a lot of faith in the knowledge that most currently in uniform would disobey any order that demanded action against the American public. At that moment, we would all need to rise and take action on the authority that demanded it in the first place. Heck, not even the Russian military obeyed those orders.

Bless you. I was one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children for only a scant four years of my life. I will not say it was just the Corps, but the military way of life that led me to what, at least for me, has beeen a very comfortable, sucessful life in my latter years. A souynd business should be, must be, run on thge sound principals of unity of purpose, whether it be for country of monetary sucess.

I would not be who I am without my introduction to adulthood from the service.
