David Gregory, James Yeager & Walmart

No charges for NBC host over ammunition magazine

D.C. Attorney General Irvin Nathan and personal friend of David Gregory's family wrote: "Having carefully reviewed all of the facts and circumstances of this matter, as it does in every case involving firearms-related offenses or any other potential violation of D.C. law within our criminal jurisdiction, OAG has determined to exercise its prosecutorial discretion to decline to bring criminal charges against Mr. Gregory, who has no criminal record, or any other NBC employee based on the events associated with the December 23,2012 broadcast. OAG has made this determination, despite the clarity of the violation of this important law, because under all of the circumstances here a prosecution would not promote public safety in the District of Columbia nor serve the best interests of the people of the District to whom this office owes its trust." And besides that, he's a pal!

State Suspends Handgun Carry Permit Of Tactical Response CEO

The state of Tennessee has suspended the handgun carry permit of James Yeager, CEO of Tactical Response, who recently said he would "start killing people" should President Obama take executive action on gun control.

State officials explained they revoked the permit because of Yeager's "material likelihood of risk of harm to the public," according to a local TV station.

Apparently, the government of Tennessee feels quite comfortable running roughshod over the First and Second Amendment Rights of a non-connected peasant like James Yeager, probably at the prompting of the Obama administration...

I believe that the Founders had a couple of words for such government: Tyranny & Despotism. I like the word Fascism for it, too.

DC heat for Walmart in bribe scandal

Two US Congressmen yesterday said they have e-mails showing Walmart CEO Mike Duke was aware of bribery allegations as far back as 2005. Reps. Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) and Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) said the e-mails contradict statements by Walmart last month that Duke wasn’t part of the cover-up

Walmart Meets With Attorney General on Gun Control

Walmart first refused to discuss gun policy with the administration, then SUDDENLY changed their mind and met with Dick "Lots O' Dead Mexicans" "Gun Owners Should 'Cower' in Shame Like Smokers" Holder on Thursday

Imagine that! Two well-known Democrat Congressional thugs are leaning on Walmart just when the tyrannical gun-grabbing Fascist despots in the White House need them to!

And Walmart suddenly rolls over!

Nice business ya got there, Walmart. Be a shame if somethin' happened to it...

James Yeager is pretty famous as far as non-DC and non-entertainment industry total idiots go.

"despite the clarity of the violation of this important law,"

B.S. It's an idiotic legal provision.

He may be a dipstick, but even or rather especially dipsticks still have First Amendment rights. Or used to...

It is seldom helpful to scream at a camera and conclude with screaming about being ready to shoot people, if your livelihood depends on continued access to firearms.

When the emotions go up, the rational thinking goes down. That’s when you stay AWAY from the video camera.

Yeager's mouth probably hurt any of his Tactical Response students who are involved in a defensive shooting..."Ladies and Gentlemen of the jury, this video depicts the individual who trained the defendant in the appropriate use of force...."

His poorly chosen remarks were the philosophical equivalent of warning shots; I wonder if he teaches that in his course...

I’m sure he’s been regretting it for the past day. Imagine that clip being shown to a jury.

You pass a test and get a license to carry. Who is the “state” that can take it away without at least a hearing?

We've all said and typed things we regretted later, and while I always considered Yeager something of a loud mouth, he is capable of saying some fairly intelligent things.

If and when the SHTF, being an attention whore will not bode well for anybody; it's why the Army does not paint it's Abrams tanks blaze orange or issue soldiers fuscia uniforms.
