Reaganite Republican ^ | 17 January 2013 | Reaganite Republican

'...Unlike with Obama -where the kids have nothing to do with what these people are up to- the Republicans' thing would have everything to do with the next generation....

But they (the GOP) won't... because, I dunno... nothing going on up there'

A backpack big enough for the Federal Debt on your backs, kids!

"John Boner and Mitch McConnell don’t want to offend Obama."

It seems a waste to criticize them for they keep getting elected.

the GOP isn't known as the stupid party for nothing.

Then we must continue to go around the "leaders" of the Party, especially Boehner and McConnell. People like Levin need to become the FACE of the New Movement. IMO, he seems to be the only one that would make the move from Talk Radio back into politics.

Two reasons: they’re not that clever and they have no balls.

An image of a 3rd grade class where the black Obama look alike principal opens up the room to the hall, sticks his head in and tells the teacher, "Miss Johnson, don't forget to warn those kids about the national debt" just as bundles of US Treasury Bonds crash through the ceiling!

You don't need to kill any kinds, CGI will be satisfactory.

You can see armed SS guys behind the principle, guns out, protecting him ~ or not.

I agree. It would be a fantastic idea. Stage it to look exactly like the setting for Obama’s shameless display of children. Also have the PR folks write some fake letters that supposedly came from the innocent, but precocious and charming young children—just like Obama did.

“Dear Mr. Boehner: Why does the president want to keep saddling me and my friends with trillions of dollars of debt? I didn’t do anything to deserve this. I don’t think that’s very nice. I think the president is a very mean man. Please work your hardest to protect me and my friends from a life of economic despair caused by this president. I’m counting on you. Your friend, Jimmy.”

Because the would be raped by the media as they stood there surrounded by children pointing that each of them is already over $50K in debt through the Federal Government with the amount growing all the time.

It would be both entertaining and enlightening to see what terms and memes they used, though.

The Republicans can’t get a fair hearing on anything they do or don’t do in the current media climate.

The media is the problem. Obama is not perfect. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi aren’t likeable and filled with charm. Hillary is most definitely NOT the sexiest woman alive.

The media is completely controlling everything. Obama could trip down stairs (Ford), misspell potato, secretly tape RNC meetings, then have sex with 10 interns both male and female and the media would prop him up not tear him down.

I can’t imagine any scenario where the media lose their power to shape the conversation and public opinion. And until conservatives can find a way around pop-culture and the ‘news’ we are stuck.

Lee Atwater was the last real fighter in the GOP.

Heh.

I suggested this just a day ago on this very website.

Makes me wonder if Mark reads here.

However, the GOP will not do it, because it will take no effective measure to defeat Obama or the democrats on anything at all, because it does not wish to defeat them, it wishes to assist them.

Furthermore, they should not do it, because it will earn the children enemeies that they did not have before they appeared with the accursed GOP, and children do not deserve that in my mind.

The GOP will be accused of hiding behind human shields of children by an Obama surrounded by children. The GOP will be hated for its cowardice in politicizing children, the children will be hated for assisting the GOP, and people will remark at how noble and beautiful Obama’s children are.

This is America.

“Why don’t Republicans” ...

I see this phrase all the time. Republicans are NEVER EVER going to do what we think they should do. Ever. Get use to it.

I think the GOP should put their best representatives forward immediately following every press conference or stupid speech obama gives refuting his lies and insinuations.

They won’t.

They simply do not want Obama’s lies and insinuations refuted, otherwise they would refute them.

Actions speak louder than words, and in the case of the GOP, inaction speaks louder than silence.

Does Levin really think the press would cover such an event?

He thinks acting like Dems ensures the same amount of press covereage? Really? This is quite naive.

I like Mark Levin but it wouldn’t work.
If done by us it would be treated as repugnant.
When done by Obama it is treated as proof he cares.
That’s how it would be reported by every MSM news show.
With a straight face.
Because that’s what they believe.
Obama is noble and above reproach.
Everyone who disagrees with him is evil.
Stop thinking facts matter at all.
They don’t.

I have been saying this for years, any Republican that truly gives a damn about this country and the Children, only needs to go on a Thank an 8 Yr Old Campaign, visiting Elementary Schools and THANKING them for being there to PAY OUR BILLS.

-- I cannot believe Boehner was a SALESMAN in his prior career!!! He must have been terrible ... --

Oh, I dunno. He probably schmoozed and bribed his way to get the sales. Just like Congress. Cronies, lies, and smiles. And booze. Lots of booze.

He's about as smarmy as they come.
