It is ironic that this vanity calls for unity when Romney was so arrogant as to think he could stomp candidates into the ground and all their supporters would vote for him because of Obama.

I do not believe this vanity calls for unity around Mitt Romney. The only part about Romney is where it claims he lost because he was a Mormon (and not a Muslim like Obama).

The unity this vanity's calling for is to get behind the Republicans in Congress and support them even if they rubberstamp everything Obama sends to them. It says we need to "show backbone" and support them even if they let Obama walk all over them and stomp all over the US Constitution.

Yes, there are republicans who put party above nation just like there are democrats who put party above nation. To them it's no different than the Yankees vs Red Sox. It's a game, nothing more. I certainly would not think that passing a bill that increases taxes with no spending cuts put our children and grand-children first. I don't see how much of anything this republican controlled House has done puts nation first. That's the unity the vanity is calling for.

"That means this was actually a very tight election, and bodes well for future Republican victories."

You're joking, right?

NO REPUBLICAN (and I use the term loosely, as they are RINO's) wins in a tight race.

Allen West is a prime example of a Conservative that got robbed by Fraud, and, likewise, Al Franken is a Senator due to obvious (but, as always, un-Prosecuted, VOTE FRAUD).

It will be a cold day in Hell when a Conservative gets fair voting conducted in HIS Race.....

Race DID have something to do with Allen West’s losing: black conservatives must be defeated at all costs.

Race had everything to do with Obama’s opposition research machine destroying Herman Cain’s candidacy.

Then someone needs to inform them that Todd Akin is white.

First, Obama will NOT pay for what he’s doing to America.

WE WILL.

Second, are you asking me to forget that I’m a CONSERVATIVE and become a Republican?

No.

I will not.

What the country REALLY needs is a re-institution of Hanging for Treason.....I’m sure at least half of Washington D.C.’s current crop of “Authorities” would qualify, today.....

51% turnout, 160% turn out in a few places. You’re assuming that there was no voter fraud.

If turnout was 160% in some places, then overall turnout of honest voters must have been even lower than 51%, and I'm not assuming anywhere that there was no voter fraud.

Though some who should have voted stayed home, the fact is that it was all the people with government employment (and all their families), most all the people getting welfare & unemployment (and their families), those on food stamps, Obama phones and the kids lied to that voted college tuition that caused the bulk of this mess.

Sadly I think we have become the new RINO. Those conservatives who are registered Republican are Republican In Name Only, that’s what is has come to. Sad but true.

If I were a Republican I would be PROUDLY calling myself a RINO. I’m certainly not part of what I see in the House today.

I know a lot of so-called normal people who voted for obama. They’re going to pay, along with the rest of us, when the death panels kick in.

A lot of Republicans forget a simple truth. Conservatives are not Republicans. Some of us were, some of us never were. But the simple truth is that we ‘caucus’ with the Republicans when our interests match.

They have not matched since the GOP ‘moderated’ and became accepting of things which we oppose.

The people demanding that conservatives support the GOP need to explain with a straight face what would differentiate us from the minorities who are plantation dwellers for the Democrats, Whom they mock, should we comply.

When the GOP acts like the party of Reagan, we will vote accordingly. When they act like the party of Clinton, we will do likewise.

Not hard to figure out. But they don’t want that. They want dem style blind alligence to give them power.

Romney lost for a few reasons. One was massive fraud. It must be fixed, if we ever hope to throttle the federal government monster.

I honestly believe that was the problem. Particularly in the swing states, there were numerous reports of votes cast for Romney switching to Obama. I personally know of one voter in suburban Philadelphia that happened to and when she reported it to the poll watchers they assured her the vote went to Romney despite what the machine said. She is a rather meek 21 year old and didn't fight it higher.

It would help if the pubs could get that NJ decision from 1984 (and renewed later) removed so that we can fight voter fraud.

Why did we keep the majority of seats in the house if everyone was voting Obama? Don't tell me that they voted Obama for President and switched to a pubbie for congress - doubt most Obama voters know how to split a vote.

You are right that some people voted for Obama because he's black. I just do not think it was the biggest factor as to why Romney lost and Obama won.

Anybody who would vote for race would tend to be a democrat / liberal anyways. You have the racists, most of them democrats. After all, they were the ones that created the KKK.

Then you have the liberals who vote via emotion. They also tend to believe white is supreme and non-whites need that extra help. They are racists too.

Anybody who would vote against the white guy and for the black guy solely out of race is likely to be a democrat and vote for democrats everytime. They tend to be school teachers, union workers, globalist-liberals who think it's time that America learn a lesson from all of its evil ways. They are bleeding-heart liberals anyways.

Have you noticed that voter law reform has completely disappeared from the GOP radar since the election? Another hot potato dropped. If people/politicians were serious about voter fraud, it seems awful funny that the only place you hear about it post election is on FR and like forums.

We will next hear about it a couple months before the 2014 elections when it’s far too late. Then a lot of sound and fury signifying nothing nothing will once again be used to rally the troops.

The pattern here is not by definition, new.

That’s good, because I didn’t say this vanity was about unity around Romney.

Romney is finished.
