I think, you are all missing the point. There is no praise or cheering from the media, other politicos and the right party throwers for leaving that 90+ bunch of “trailer park trash” alone.
BUT if they can quietly kick them out and build a multi mega buck housing complex for the 46 politically correct homeless. You know drug addicts, alcoholics, and other “substance abusers” there will be praises and kudos and invites to the best parties.AND most importantly there will be kickbacks from the contractors building said housing complex. The real thing to remember is, Trailer Park residents are less valuable than their protected species.

I think if the truth be known.. How-weird County wants to eliminate any trailer park communities. It doesn’t fit in “their image”. Having a trailer park is “trashy” but having low income homes for drug addicts, welfare moms, etc.. is progressive and kind. It’s how liberals think.

“Coming soon to your neighborhood”.
In Montgomery Co, Md... it is already here and has been. A new community HAS to have a % of low income/HUD houses. Any planned community of new homes usually has a townhouse section within that neighborhood and a % of those are low income. One of those really neat progressive thoughts (/s).. if you can afford a home for say $500,000 dollars... you still need to be “involved” with lowlifes.

Several years ago in Monkey County MD ( THE Freak state), the developer was obligated by county law to build MPDU's (moderately priced dwelling units) for "the less fortunate" on their property at Avenel. Avenel is a golf course community with large $100,000,000 houses. They built the required number of nice brick townhouses; however, those eligible for moving into those places complained that they were reminded of slaves quarters of the old south. Apparently, the brick, the relative smallness of size, etc. was the problem. Sheesh...loser ingrates. One can't win with these morons. Oh, by the way, we escaped from that liberal asshat/moonbat-zone about an year ago. Free, Thank God, Free at last!

“Free, Thank God, Free at last!”
.. and some freepers wonder why Maryland FR’s just can’t wait to get the heck out. We have about three more years and we are gone as well. Nothing I leave in Maryland will be worth coming back to. That being said, I have heard the griping about how the low income townhomes aren’t the “end” units and don’t have the crown moldings, stainless appliances etc... It is all about “looking” equal instead of actually obtaining something yourself.
