Democrats attack gun manufacturers access to banking
Monachus Lex ^ | January 25, 2013 | John Pierce

Posted on 01/25/2013 12:25:36 PM PST by JohnPierce

Vice-President Biden sent an email to supporters today in which he touted the Obama Administration’s efforts to pass gun control.

In the email, Biden continued to pander to gun-owning Democrats by promising that “Every step we intend to take will preserve the tradition of responsible gun ownership in our country and uphold the Second Amendment.”

Having read that, Democrat gun owners should rest assured that their precious hunting rifles are safe … right? After all, it is only those black, scary rifles that Democrats want to ban … isn’t it?

Well … while Vice-President Biden is doing his best to divide and conquer gun owners, former Obama Chief-of-Staff Rahm Emanuel is trying to have banks drop gun manufacturers as customers unless the gun manufacturers agree to support the Administration’s gun control policies. If successful, such a maneuver would be a death knell for those manufacturers who refuse to become puppets of the government.

“Now we need you and other commercial banks to join this fight for safer streets. Collectively we can send a clear and unambiguous message to the entire gun industry that investors will no longer financially support companies that profit from gun violence.”

I have to ask those gun owners who continue to vote for Democrats … if the gun manufacturers go out of business, who will make your precious hunting rifles?

The leftists are attacking everywhere, liberty is their enemy. There won’t be anywhere safe from their attacks soon. What right does the government have to extort private enterprise?

This is their “conservatives equal apartheid” campaign.

The masks are off. They “won,” didn’t you hear? The socialists, progressives, liberals, communists, Marxists, and fascists believe they have the RIGHT to enact any and all previously-considered anti-American laws, rules, and regulations without following the Constitution.

We’ve reached the point where American citizens MUST rise up and overthrow the tyrants in DC.

O.K.

Telegraphing their punches.

You know what OUR job is now, right?? Contact YOUR bank IN ADVANCE, let them KNOW that if they drop gun businesses you are dropping THEM!

And if they ignore you, DO IT and tell them why.

We are involved in a Chicago gnag war with a bunch of gangsters and thugs and its tim eto “go to the matresses” if we want to save America.

No compromise, No compliance, Not now, Not ever.

“...the National Conference of Democratic Mayors has issued a warning of their own to gun makers. The mayors, who collectively purchase millions in firearms and ammunition for their police departments, said they’ll begin grading manufacturers on their compliance with public safety goals and reward those they rate the best and limit purchases with those who oppose regulations.”

I realize I’m dreaming but if the USA gun companies boycotted dem cities, “go buy your cop handguns from the EU” it would be sweet to see. The big companies won’t do that, I fear.

I believe Biden’s encouraging banks not to do business with gun manufacturers could be construed as “restraint of trade.” Biden should also consider whose jobs he is threatening. Gun manufacturers have long been a staple source of jobs in Blue New England's “gun valley”:

Connecticut:

* Chaparral Arms [Shelton]
* Charter Arms and subsidiary Chaparral Arms [Shelton]
* Colt [Hartford]
* Connecticut Shotgun [New Britain]
* Marlin Firearms [New Haven]
* PTR 91, Inc[Unionville]
* United States Fire Arms [Hartford]
* Mossberg & Sons Inc. [North Haven]
* Ruger [Southport]
* Seecamp [Milford]
* Stag Arms [New Britain]

Massachusetts:

* Auto-Ordnance [Worcester]
* S&W [Springfield]
* Savage [Westfield]
* Kahr (Saeilo) [Worcester]
* NEF [Gardner]
* ZM weapons [Bernardston]
* Troy Industries [Lee]
* Yankee Hill Machine Co, Inc. [Florence]
* Samson Manufacturing Corp. [Whately]
* Remsport [Ludlow]

Maine:

* Smith & Wesson (Walther pistols) [Houlton]
* Bushmaster [Windham]

New Hampshire:

* Advanced Cartridge Company LLC [Manchester]
* Gonic Arms [Gonic] are they “gone-ic”?
* Lusa USA [Hookset/Webster]
* Sig Arms [Exeter]
* Thompson Center [Rochester]
* Competitor Corporation, Inc. [Jaffrey]

Vermont:

* Century [Fairfax, VT]
* Robbins and Lawrence [Windsor]

“The leftists are attacking everywhere, liberty is their enemy.”

Don’t delude yourself. Their enemy is G-D and those people who align themselves with Him. Disarming us, as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, and Castro disarmed their subjects, is just a step on their road to a G-Dless “utopia”.

“We’ve reached the point where American citizens MUST rise up and overthrow the tyrants in DC.”

It’s not enough. The media, academia, and Hollywood also must go.

If they can coerce banks into dropping customers for this reason, they can coerce them into dropping customers for other reasons, like you’re conservative or Republican or don’t support so called gay marriage rights or abortion rights.

Make the boycott permanent against each and every company, too, BTW. Never let ‘em forget.

According to the report, he has only approached TD Bank and Bank of America so far. I believe they chose those because Smith & Wesson uses them.
