Governments both federal and state have a never ending procurement process that makes any project time line a LONG one. Any state that says it's going to set up an exchange is going to struggle with it for that reason and because of funding. There is a 95% probability that the exchanges will incur cost over runs. The big (and small) consulting firms are going to FEAST off of this debacle, with mediocre outcomes at best. And everyone, EVERYONE, including the liberals who most wanted this, are going to HATE it.
And then, using the Jedi mind tricks they always use on themselves, they'll figure out a way to blame the Republicans and that will be the MSM meme for the next 40 years. But you knew that last part already.
“It makes things actually WORSE for a lot of people.”
Top down centralized control always does! Dictators must force all individuals to bend their will to the wishes of the tyrant, that is the only way to “create” the utopia that they desire. Individuals cease to exist!
Therefore, things getting worse for everyone is always the result. History proves it, which is why it is so easy to predict!
Suck on it KOmmies! You wanted it, now you got it! Idiots.
“It will not “collapse,” as some here are speculating. It will simply become more and more hideous in an ever-spiraling mess; just like the tax code, but with your life and not just your money at stake.”
I agree with you. The Utopian mantra always has been, “we need more time, it takes time to get it right, we need more control to MAKE it work, blah, blah, blah.”
Then the sheeple follow blindly....
There should have been a lot of dims lose their seats after that vote. Of course, with voters that always reelect the Queen Sheila, Maxine Waters, Hank Johnson, etc., the house dims are well cemented into their jobs benefits forever.
They didn’t want it, they wanted single payer healthcare or nationalized insurance. They will get that within 2 years.
Pray for America
You should read this.
It’s all going to hit the fan BIGTIME next year when taxpayers are going to see the HUGE amount they have to pay for ObamaCare when filing their tax returns. Or will it be later this year when the HUGE deductions are taken out of their paychecks?
I don’t think the federal guvmnt cares about the exchanges. All they care about is the IRS Enforcers collecting the TAX from those who cannot afford (or refuse to pay) insurance premiums.
I believe this was the intent all along.
LOL — time warp as your later repeat post came in first

Too right. They haven't found a way to blame Bush yet, that's all. But they're working on it.
I'm not even joking, much. Once the initial pain is gone the false memory will set in. "Yeah, we had to get a second mortgage to afford a bedpan for Aunt Marge, but at least we didn't have to sell the children for medical experiments like we did under Bush." These folks don't change.
Oh, I know it’s not “free”. You will get a bill. It’s just that you can’t be denied care.
Heck, the Emergency rooms are used by the folks on “free” government insurance. In Tennessee they found people taking cabs to go to the hospital to get Tylenol for a headache.
The state legislature tried to tighten the rules but some left wing judge stepped in. I wonder if all the libs have relatives in the system! lol
That might be pretty tough. Since the recall 3 years ago, you mostly see Tylenol for cold medicine and heat cream but not much else. BTW, I picked up the last batch of Tylenol before the recall with coupons.
Reminds me of John Conyers on this very subject, ridiculing the very idea of reading the bill before voting on it:

People like that ruin it for people who truly need care.
I have a friend who lost his job and with it his insurance, his unemployment was running out and he had to go to the ER. He was denied any financial assistance.
I dropped my health insurance in December. I just can't afford it anymore. If something happens I'm screwed.
