Res ipsa loquitur. Ipso facto. Post hoc, propter hoc. Amicus curiae. Quod erat demonstratum. Salus publicae, prima lex. Gallia omnis in tres partes divisa est. Ex parte. Pro se. In propria persona. Qui custodet custodes? Hoc est punctum quod inter gentes ferro et ignis dividitur. Ad litem. Habeas corpus. Mamma frickin' mia.

Have we not had enough circling about these legal Robin Hood's barns? The courts, may the gods damn them, certainly have. They are having NONE of it. Those prisoners languishing in durance vile as a result of FERA, shall long there remain.

The ruling piece of legal dog-latin? Res judicata. Which means "other courts have looked at this. They have decided, and we all (surprise surprise) agree." So Attorney Montgomery Blair Sibley (quel beau nom historique!) Foxtrot Oscar.

There is no Santa Claus. But the Easter Bunny is coming to tell all adults, "The Law, Fairness, and Logic can tend to be mutually exclusive matters."
