Need Help With Profile Page (Vanity)

Profile page only loads some of my pictures from Photobucket.

I'm not sure if this is tied to Free Republic going down or the new Photobucket website. The pictures are there but won't load. Thanks for any help

Most of the pics on my profile are hosted at photobucket and I haven’t had any problem with mine...

Are the Picture loaded to "your" account on Photobucket?

Because sometimes if they are one someone else's than the reason they are not there is because that user either took down that picture or closed the account.

But if that is not the case Photobucket itself is slowly going to Pot. I have several missing pics on my profile pages as well, I just need to get into the code and replace them :\

The html of my profile page hasn’t changed. The pictures you see there are from my Photobucket account. They changed their format. Just wondering if that’s it and I have to make a new account with just my Aussie pictures ...????

I checked the “direct link” on one of the photos in your profile (Snoopie in the plane) and it’s different than the URL you have in the code.

The html of my profile page hasn’t changed. It worked fine before. Now all of a sudden some of my pictures show up from Photobucket and some don’t even though they’re there on Photobucket...

Yep, since the photo's are from your account then it must be because Photobucket has screwed the pooch again.

I would suggest a New File Storing site entirely, I know FReeper MestaMachine has had trouble with it, you might check with her or Cripplecreek.

They were going to move their graphics to a new site.

You need to resize your background. THAT is what is killing your page. The phots load. You just can’t see them unless you scroll WAAAAYYYY over.. You have to limit the width of your table background.

But that doesn't explain then why some pictures show up and some don't since it's all from the same site. Sheesh!

I can see everything on my laptop. I’ve a 17in screen. Do you see everything? I see where it says “Photobucket” instead of the picture but no picture. I see everything from left to right at the same time.

Right, but when I looked at the series of linked provided by photobucket, yours matched up with some of them, but not the direct links. Either they changed it, or you tweaked something on your photobucket account to cause the link-types to change. I dunno.

I think I’m slowly getting it ... I see where the URL for Photobucket is different from the originals but that doesn’t explain why some load and some don’t. I’ve not changed the original FR html page.

That s1108.beta never used to be there. I think I have to change some of those pictures to that part.
