What happened to that humorless dork Mineralman? he used to show up on a thread invloving great humor to condemn all for indulging in such juvenile behavior. The guy must have eaten lemons for breakfast. I did see mention of him (or his screen name) on a Dummie Funnies thread, so that maybe was his true calling all along.
The Swordman guy used to spam FR with multiple posts a day about the glories of Apple products and had very thin skin when anyone made fun of AppleBoyz. Never recall seeing him post on any thread dealing with politics or conservatism, so I can only assume he was a troll here only to promote Apple stuff that no one asked about. His constant threats to hit the abuse button are not missed.

I sent here this one from Bike Week in Daytona:

Some just died.
Most freepers are what, 70 and up?
The activism is now limited to just sternly worded vanities or calls for donations.

I am not very quick in conversation, I don’t have that gift of being able to do on-the-fly analysis and formulation of a response.
I enjoy writing, and I feel that it gives me time to formulate and think through what I really mean, which is good for this environment, because people will readily poke holes, and that is fully expected.
Hey, I have my own sacred cows that have been slaughtered and put on a spit over the Free Republic coals here. It makes me realize just how fallible my opinions can be on occasion. It is humbling.

They were driven off by the Palinistas. Only the misogynists and MSM believers.

"The net freed people to spout whatever..."A trully amazing thing that.
I was drawn here because I wanted to hammer my new faith at the time.FR will certainly burn the fat off of your world view.If you can keep your feelings in check.

And we Palinistas apparently failed miserably...since there are still several PDSers haunting the Palin threads.

Yes! Good Old Doctor Raoul! Great guy, I met him on more than a few occasions with that great DC Chapter gang!
I loved seeing him wear that Halliburton baseball cap. Just the sight of it was enough to drive the Moonbats into a spittle-lipped rage!
I swear, he would incline and turn his head just to be sure they got a good view of it!
Man, that was great!

Well, “feeling’ is the new way for a lot of ‘conservatives’ these days. They seem to share that with their supposed enemies. The greatest thing about FR is as you said, the ability to burn through the BS. Lord knows there’s plenty of that lately.
