We have a Representative in southern OR named Sal Esquivel. I heard him speak once where he mentioned a Bracero program his father had used. People were brought in, picked the crops, then sent home by the farmers that used their services. He specifically said that program is no longer available. I would expect a state rep to know.

And I would expect one to lie just like this one did. The name "Bracero" may not be used anymore but anyone who tells you that we don't have multiple guest and migrant worker programs is a liar.
