Weather and climate vary. The weather varies faster than the climate, but both change. Temps go up and temps go down. There is no “Normal” temperature. The temp is what it is, no matter what people think it should be.

Weather is the consequence of all the heat energy received from the sun. Weather spreads the energy and dissipates it, so that over a long period of time, the Earth retains an essentially flat temperature.

Over the short term, temps go and temps go down, and people show their stupidity in saying that they fully understand the changes.

“There is no “Normal” temperature.”

Drives me crazy when meteorologists talk about “normal” temps. They are AVERAGE temperatures derived from a very limited time frame.
