Under this legislation, a law enforcement officer or sheriff found guilty would be removed from office and not allowed back in office for a period of ten years. Seriously, this should be applied to Ms. Davis and those who think like her, not upstanding sheriffs who are dismissing unlawful laws.

So they are supposed to enforce federal gun control laws, but ignore federal immigration laws?
Can't have it both ways, @$$holes.

Shove it up your very personal, very smelly, and very probably previously visited Obama, Obamadork.
The sheriffs possess what you never had....b*lls.
Just try to do something to them and perhaps you’ll be the proud recipient of Cw-II.

Americans have no legal nor moral reason to support unconstitutional laws. In fact, this is precisely the thing that has always made us exceptional.

I hate to inform the emperor but cops make legal judgement calls every day. Lord knows how many times I was saved from arrest during my misspent youth by a cop who didn’t think the law was well served by following it to the letter.

he did say, I think as a general proposition we think that people ought to follow the law.. Yeah, Carney, like Obama and his Bush and Clinton predecessors strictly followed immigration law and enforced said laws??? They set new standards for ignoring laws they don't like.

How’s that any different that Obama saying he’s not going to enforce DOMA because he doesn’t think it constitutional, or the DOJ saying they’ve decided not to enforce the law requiring cleanup of the voter rolls?

Washington has no authority to tell us whom we elect as sheriff.
