This is just more of the media shaping the battlefield.

I'm old enough to have known Colonel Petraeus (not Patraeus as the author writes at least part of the time). Petraeus is a brilliant man, but with his soiled reputation he is the wrong man to bring conservatives to the polls in 2016.
I wish we could think of someone who unites conservatives and scares liberals, someone who could and would roll back the gains made by the socialists in these past eight years and who has a reputation for never tolerating corruption in either party. I just wish we could find a worthy successor to Reagan among today's politicians.
With eight more years of seasoning in the hellhole of the modern mainstream media, could a real conservative survive and overcome the systematic, inaccurate but vicious attacks? I'm hoping to learn that answer three years from now.

Rick Perry... I love the guy as Gov of Txs, buuut, you can’t stand on a national stage and embarrass yourself and those who supported you, then make everyone uneasy about a repeat performance. You’ve got to either now your own thoughts on ALL the issues, or like Obama, know how to BS your way around them. Pols usually are good about combining BS with ALL the facts to sound good. But for us Conservatives, you have to also speak a very specific language... Rand, Rubio, Palin and Cruz and a few others fit that bill, Perry not so much.

How wonderful.
More candidates CHOSEN by the White Hut
and MSM BECAUSE of what they “have” on them, and because
they NEVER speak up.

That chart only serves to prove that the MSM got their boy selected by eviscerating all other candidates. And as long as we have a three and a half year primary with the actual voting starting in liberal States we'll have the same outcomes, unelectable candidates selected before the populace has a chance to voice their opinion. I don't understand why any person of average intellect can't understand how the selection process has been co-opted by the ruling elite and the MSM.

Perry already ran for President. He’s a proven loser. Palin has yet to run for the top job. Why not unite behind ONE Conservative instead of running a bunch of Conservatives against Jeb?

Hey, what about Mark Sanford? If somebody doesn’t give him a job he is likely to be my representative in congress...how could people even consider proven JERKS??? I’m beginning to think that is some kind of initial qualification for political advancement. And my faith in the American voter is falling lower than my approval of congress. Uh, how low can you go anyway? Maybe these guys aren’t jerks, maybe the people who vote for them are!!!

Patraeus has repeatedly said he’s not interested. Plus, the libs and their “media” would exploit his affair to no end. Finally.... How do we even know he’s aligned with the GOP.

Curious how the bimbos went away Yeah, I noticed that too... That was the most blatant example of cheap-shot political character assassination I'd seen in a long time. Gloria Allred has a special place in hell awaiting her.

The only value David Petraeus may have is the truth he won't tell about Benghazi and whatever else that has been done in our name in that region and elsewhere.
As it is now, it's hard to tell which team he is playing for and how they are scoring the game.

David Petraeus has admitted to being a “Rockefeller Republican.”
That statement right there is a reason to bypass him from presidential consideration.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
David Pateaus is just another Globalist. The last guy in the world right behind Chrispy Kreme you ever want to vote for. I don’t see Ricky Perry ever selecting him as a running mate.

No, it’s The Hill, whose recommendations for the GOP should be given as much credence as the Onion’s.

The RINO fool who made me miss the eloquence of GW Bush and couldn’t even compete with idiots like Romney and Gingrich, and an adulterous General who’s never run for office before and who’s only non-military service was as Lord Obama’s election year CIA Director, appointed as window dressing to give credibility to his regime.
Sounds like a winner!! They should start picking out Oval office furniture right da fuq now!!!

Sorry, that doesn't make sense to me.
An Amnesty is an Amnesty, and you will never get a majority of illegal alien votes as they have been brought up with a certain level of dependency and expecting their government to give them free things.
Want proof?
The most conservative President of our time granted Amnesty and it didn't move them in our direction one little bit. The percentages voting for (or supporting) the Democrats have been more or less the same all along.
Rand Paul uses weasel words like "Normalization" to hide the fact all he is doing is legalizing, and ignoring current law where these lawbreakers are concerned.
It's Amnesty, plain and simple, and it is a suicide plan for the GOP.
