But if this makes people think she’s settling for “soft power,” avoiding the tough issues — recent moves have shown this isn’t so.

To the first lady’s conventional issues — healthy food, exercise and military families — add violence against youth. On April 10, she will attend a youth violence event in Chicago, moving close to the gun-control debate, one of the year’s most contentious political issues. Obama will urge business and civil leaders in her home town “to invest in expanded opportunities for youth across Chicago’s neighborhoods,” members of her staff said.....

Sounds to me like she’s preparing for her presidential term after Hillary wraps up in 2024.

If she plans to tackle tough issues, be on the lookout for a vacation north of the temperate zone.

The toughest decisions she will make is where she should send the kids next on the tax payers’ dollar. I mean after a spring break in the Bahamas topped off with a final ski vacation out west...it’s gonna be tough to top those. What a hard life. This truly is the first “Bling” presidency.

I heard that she’s going to spend $100 billion to promote vacation time for the unemployed. Apparently she believes that if the unemployed took more vacation time, then they would be more employable, particulalry as government workers.

Yeah, really tough issues.
