California Democrats Pass Bill That Protects Pedophiles
OK Politechs ^ | 04/04/13 | Charles M. Phipps

California Congresswoman Jackie Speier, Democrat, wants to federalize a state law that protects pedophiles.  No, that's not the main part of the bill, known in California as SB1172.  Speier's bill is designed to prohibit counseling to change a person's sexual orientation.  “Sexual orientation change efforts’ means any practices by mental health providers that seek to change an individual’s sexual orientation,” the bill says. Under the bill’s language, a mental health counselor could be sanctioned if there was an attempt to get a pedophile or gay individual to change his behavior or speak negatively about their behavior as it relates to sexuality.
When the law was passed in California, Republicans did attempt to add an amendment specifying that pedophilia is not covered as an orientation, but the Democrats defeated the amendment.  What the Democrats either failed to realize or didn't care about was that, by labeling pedophilia a sexual orientation, discrimination laws apply and pedophiles cannot be barred from jobs such as teaching preschool based solely on their pedophilia.

The law does not specifically mention pedophilia, but according to Brad Dacus, president of the Pacific Justice Institute, "This language is so broad and vague, it could arguably include all forms of sexual orientation, including pedophilia.  It's not just the orientation that is protected - the conduct associated with the orientation is protected as well."

There was an injunction granted against the legislation and it appears that  a date for arguments in court has not yet been set.  Whether this law survives or not is yet to be determined.  Whether it does or not the fact remains that California Democrats have acted to protect child molesters and could end up providing them with protection from discrimination.  At least one Congressional Democrat wants to do likewise on the federal level.  This is absolutely disgusting but also not the least bit surprising.

The perverts have completely taken over in California. And the people that allowed them to come to power are leaving California and bringing the perversions they learned there with them.

The next sexual “frontier”.

Now that the sodomites and lesbians have almost completely overcome, the pedophiles and polygamists are next in line for “normalization”.

If homosexual “marriage” becomes the “law of the land”, like Roe v. Wade, then it will be illegal to openly preach that homosexuality is sin.

Same will happen with *ALL* the other sexual perversions.

We are witnessing the total and complete destruction of America from protecting pedophiles, to gay marriage, the erosion of the 2A. To a media carrying water for the socialist left. What’s it going to take before good people hav had enough? The left is an evil force, period. / rant-off

California has long been known as very libertarian on issues that conservatives recoil from and fight with all that they have.

“”As libertarian blogger Steve Newton put it, Ruwart and her allies run the risk of turning the party into “the poster child for NAMBLA and the aluminum hat brigade.”

The party’s executive director, Shane Cory, saw the danger as well, and rushed out a press release titled, “Libertarians call for increased communication to combat child pornography.” Cory was attacked by hardliners who saw the release as an endorsement of increased federal prosecuting power. The party refused to vote on a resolution asking states to strongly enforce existing child porn laws. Cory resigned in protest, depriving a party in the midst of what may be its most promising election season of one of its most able organizers and fund raisers. But for many libertarian faithful, adherence to the most rigid of principles always trumps practical considerations about how those principles might be more broadly observed.””

Don’t hold your breath, it has happened so many times in history, even recently it isn’t even funny-meaning the majority letting a extreme and crazed ,infirmity do as they please.

It all comes down to time and money. They have a way of being rich without needing to work a real job- they get 6 figures to work a foundations that all them to support their family and spend 100% of their time pushing whatever insane issue they want- we simply don’t have that. In cases where we do we don’t have the low level low salary population with our values to the the 30k a year supporting gigs at those places. People with our values that would be in that class are determined to do better and bring themselves up, whereas those gigs are largely dead end and just another form of permanent welfare.

We aren’t special....

So why didn’t I know about this or was able to vote on this? Oh yeah, it’s COMMIPORNIA, sinking into the depths of debt.
Have been a native Californian all my life and feel, enslaved. I need OUT. I will live in a damned barn in another state. Sorry can’t afford homes and such. But I need out. So tired of this. Pedophiles deserve NO rights nor do homosexuals deserve marriage rights.

Yep-—Homosexual “marriage” destroys religions—other than pagan, Satanic/occult ones, where their rite to sodomy is part of their ceremony along with child sacrifice.

Actually, promoting homosexuality is promoting Satanism/or worship of Lucifer—religions, so it is unconstitutional.

BTW, Natural Law Theory-—the basis of our judicial system promotes Laws using Right Reason according to Nature (Natural Moral Laws)....which homosexual “marriage” defies. This goes back to Cicero and adopted by John Locke and William Blackstone and is the basis for American Law—(if it were Constitutional.)

Reason is the foundation of Just Laws. Reason is thrown out by the Leftists/Marxists in their irrational effort to enshrine sodomizing others and making it a “good” in the sight of little children. Completely evil to corrupt the character formation of little children with absurd uses of the human body.

It flips good and evil in a society-—eliminates Judeo-Christian Ethics——the next generation will be made to “think” is is normal and good, like the little Afghani boys in the harems.

It destroys Western Civilization as we have known it for over a thousand years—exactly what the Cultural Marxists intended.

I used to think EVIL described these people, but now I’m thinking there are people ‘beyond’ evil and we need more words to describe them.

Thanks for confirming that many libertarians oppose pedophilia and child porn.

For normal people, when it comes to fighting child rape and children pornography, "many" or some, isn't enough.

"Enough" for what? I'm not proposing that anyone join the CA LP - but the notion that libertarianism means child rape and child porn is disproven by the evidence you posted.
