When President Barack Obama heads to Connecticut on Monday, it will have been 115 days since the massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary but just four days since the state legislature enacted what looks to be the strongest gun control law in the nation.

Somebody needs to send Mrs. Hawkings’ little Davy a copy of the Bill of Rights. The boy doesn’t seem very bright. They probably didn’t teach Civics and U.S. Government where the boy went to school.
I really wish someone would compare this incident with the incidence of sexual abuse on kids. Your boy has a 1 in 5 chance of being sexually assaulted and your girl a 1 in 3 chance before age 18. This type of abuse can destroy your kid from the inside. The Sandy Hook thing was bad, but the chances of that happening again are 1 in millions. Plus the whole gun control thing isnt going to make that number change

I remember my parents saying when I was little, someone at one of the schools I went to recommended to them that they put me on Ritalin. They said (somewhat more politely, I’d imagine) no f’ing way.
Somehow I managed to grow up more or less normal.
Won’t work, the forces pushing gun control aren’t motivated by violent crimes, they simply want a disarmed populace.
