A corollary to what you said is that affirmative action ends the second the DHS "civilian army" bares their fangs.

I saw numerous 500-count boxes of .22LR marked for $40, $50, $65, and even $100, and some of it moving at those prices, at the local gun show today.
I blame the f’ng morons who had their heads up their 4th point of contact for the last 10 years, and waited until after August 2012 to finally pull their heads out. Their panic buying only encourages other morons to scarf up all the ammo and put a choke-the-horse markup on it. I’ll remember both when (if ever) this settles out.
Thanks, bozos - I’ll bet a dollar to a 22LR round that you either didn’t vote at all, or voted for the Kenyan Usurper.
OTOH, I did see a couple of AR’s marked at about the going price (DPMS, ~ $899) before all this craziness. Still had a bunch of idiots trying for $1200+, but not many of those moving.

Maybe we build a field of radioactive debris ~ that way any of the Maryland Freak State denizons try to slip over they’ll be fried and of no further concern to us.

I think I figgered out why ammo is so hard to find—it’s all those dam rat states and their citizens making runs on guns and ammo, at any price.

"Of course, the reality is that if the government ever tried such imbecilic nonsense, there would soon be their agents dangling from light poles ..." More precisely: "Of course, the reality is that if the government "Democrat Party thug army" ever tried such imbecilic nonsense, there would soon be their agents dangling from light poles...
Just trying to be precise.

Engage Armament is my FFL, bunch of good guys there. So low on inventory I don’t know how they stay in business with so many staff.

Thank you! That’s the best summary I’ve seen so far. She’s a good rep.

We can round up miscreants from MD and send the packing leaving plenty of room for our own people if it gets too hot over there.

The sales of automotive flat black spray paint cans has probably also soared as more and more Marylanders realize they won’t be able to buy anything the regime fears ~ in the near future.

The regime and their chief running dog lackeys like O'Malley fear black guns, black helicopters, black people not on the Democrat reservation, etc.
By logical extension they fear BLACK SPRAY PAINT.
A handful of Marylands know what's going on across the river ~ they are losing their freedom and being returned to chattel slavery. Their last gasp of freedom is getting holt of spray paint cans ~ black spray paint cans!

I totally agree, but now the black helicopters have been replaced with UAVs.

Starting to look and buy in January, I now have 300 rounds of 22lr CCI hollow points and 300 rounds of 22lr Remington hollow points and I wouldn't sell one cartridge for any amount of money - oh, maybe one cartridge for one million dollars. I thought the demand would catch up by now, but there is no 22lr any place I can find except at one of the bid websites and I'm not paying those outrageous prices.
