"Our state values the important role that youth groups play in the empowerment of our next generation; this is demonstrated by rewarding organizations with tax exemptions supported financially by all Californians," Lara said. "SB 323 seeks to end the unfortunate discriminatory and outdated practices by certain youth groups."

So I guess Liberal America sees the Boy Scouts of America, which is a private organization, as nothing more than a country club for future old white men. If you don't support what the group stands for, then don't join. As simple as that. If I wanted to attend an all black college, I'd be unable to. The Left is in the business to destroy, not mend.

Queer scoutmasters camping overnight for days at a time with young boys ... what could go wrong?

Anybody who doesn’t see a problem with this is either blinded by their silly ideology or speed bump stupid.

I can’t argue with the government dispensing tax breaks on an even basis. If they will deny the scouts then they need to deny any Muslim group that is not all inclusive. Or any other group thats not 100% inclusive. This is the bar they’re setting then they need to live up to it.

The best thing here is probably to pull your kids out of Scouts and keep them in small groups of private scouts.

I just don’t think thats what we need to look at. I want them to destroy themselves catering to every 2-3% of the population that demands it. It’s slowly taking it’s toll as it is.

It’s the curse of tax breaks that become a form of subsidy. The organization begins to rely more and more on their tax exempt status and politicians use that reliance to control the organization’s goals. (The reliance comes more from things like indirect taxes and the ability of donors to reduce their income taxes through larger donations than from a reduction of direct income taxes).

I would be more likely to send my boys to Boy Scouts if the organization said, “These are our values. Our values and goals are more important than our tax status.” If their tax exempt status takes priority over their goals and values, they are nothing more than an extension of the government.

‘The Boy Scouts systematically turned a blind eye towards the abuse of youth, covering up for those who were preying on kids.’

Yep, it’s not like there isn’t a prime example of what happens when you let homosexuals run rampant. Not millions and millions of dollars of judgments that crippled scouting groups across the country after hundreds of boys were raped.

Oh, right, those were straight people, it’ll be different when there are gays in charge. Besides, the scouts now have rules! No adult allowed to be alone with a scout without someone else present, including their parents. Limitations on who can go out on a campout. Background checks of parents of scouts...

Let’s see.. Why would these rules be put into place? To the rainbow flag bearers, those are obviously rules put in place to ensure that homophobia continues to be taught to young people. Certainly not to keep gays from preying any further on scouts.

Oh, look, there’s some more preparation for the gay agenda and scouting; the proposal to extend the ‘Romeo and Juliet’ laws to include men on boys, permitting children to give consent to being sodomized, so long as the abuser is no more than 3 years older. That the 15 year old taking that twelve year old into his tent to introduce him to the gay agenda is legal.

Of course, the standard bearers claim that there’s no relation at all. That’s just common sense, removing the anti-gay bias from that law. It all sounds so civilized. Why, once it is passed, they should hold a world scouting jamboree in Arizona so that everyone can join the celebration...

So I can not join the:

The California Legislative LGBT Caucus is an American political organization formed in June 2002 and composed of openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members of the California State Legislature. The caucus currently has eight members, including Assembly Speaker John Pérez.

This group is contrasted to other LGBT Equality Caucuses in that the California caucus consists entirely of LGBT legislators while LGBT Equality Caucuses consist of all orientations. Both, however, promote the promulgation of LGBT-affirming laws within the legislature.

But they wish to punish the Boy Scouts for not being inclusive.

I say form an openly straight group that holds straight pride parades once a year, not to mention the rallies.

California prefers the numerous “youth groups” in its inner cities to the Boy Scouts of America. Crips and Bloods would have a better chance at getting a tax exemption.

Like all laws, the left selectively enforces only the ones that fit there agenda and agianst those who will not participate or need to be destroyed in their eyes. The fact that any of this is considered shows us how dangerous it is to be normal or wanting to preserve civilization. The evil people are in charge, while the good guys are looking in through the window.
