North Korea: 'US and South Korean war maniacs are gravely mistaken if they expect victory'
The London Daily Express ^ | April 12, 2013 | Charlotte Meredith

"The puppet group of south Korea is resorting to smear propaganda campaign to seek its comfort by forcing others into death like itself," KCNA said today.

Warning of impending nuclear war, the chilling rant by the state run news agency continued: "The arrows indicating the merciless retaliatory strikes have already been drawn directing at the U.S. mainland, U.S. military bases in the Pacific and all other bases where the U.S. imperialist aggression forces station.

"The powerful strike means of the revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK have been put in their places and the coordinates of targets put into the warheads.

"Just pressing the button will be enough to turn the strongholds of the enemies into the sea of fire." "The U.S. and south Korean war maniacs are gravely mistaken and misjudged if they think they can have lucky chance." Meanwhile, US secretary of State John Kerry has said North Korea will not be accepted as a nuclear power and will come to the defence of the South if necessary, in talks over the escalating tensions on the Korean peninsula today.

North Korea would be making a "huge mistake" if it launched one of its medium-range missiles during the current standoff between it, the United States and South Korea, Mr Kerry warned.

Mr Kerry is discussing the crisis with President Park Geun-hye and his South Korean counterpart as well as US military commanders in the country....

I don’t think we would retaliate unless U. S. Troops are massively killed.Watch 2013.

Just WOW..... The world has no respect for weakness especially the islamic world and you better believe they are watching. If we are attacked we have to respond with enough force to show the world that it is not nice to fool with the USA. Anything else will cause massive disrespect and is an open invitation to be everyone’s target.

It is not necessary for others in the world to like us. It is necessary for them to at least respect our military ability and the believe in our willingness to use that force when attacked. You may not like it but that is simply how the world works. Not to respond would make our country appear as a coward. Is that how you want the muslim terrorists to view us???

I agree with you but I don’t think this administration will act unless there are mass U.S. casualties. This administration has already shown the world that we will not act to save a hand full of U.S. diplomats and service members in the Libya fiasco.

You need to put down the pipe, dude.

Anyone with a land border with China may need to worry, but as to them “cleaning any clocks” the ChiComs have very limited ability to much beyond march with a boatload of PLA.

Second, China, except the short life of true communism, has been capitalistic since the beginning of time and the last thing they want to do is not be able to sell their cheesy stuff and then have 4 billion unemployed to deal with.

From everything I've seen, China does not care much for NK. They are on their border conducting “War Games” which lets the NK Generals know they will not remain if they do something stupid.

North Korea doesn't have the technical military capabilities to do more than get themselves annihilated very fast.

We have over 28,000 US military personnel sitting just south of the DMZ in South Korea. If the baby kim runt decides to start this war those military personnel will be instantly in a very real shooting war. They will be targeted in the first volley. They will defend themselves with everything they have. By the time they find Obama on the golf course he will not have any choice in the matter, we will be at war.

Invading South Korea is the only realistic and viable threat that baby kim has. His missiles are basically useless against American or allied assets outside of the Korean Peninsula. We are still legally and technically at war with North Korea and when the artillery starts firing from the north and the North Korean army crosses the DMZ It doesn't much matter what our clueless leader thinks, we will be at war.

Do you believe that the president could convince our military not to fight back to just lay down their arms and be killed or captured? If obama gave the order to surrender most of the troops on the ground would ignore him and the people here at home would be looking for someplace to string him up.

The only question I have is if all of this takes place, to what extent we will go to to stop the mass of NK army troops attacking to the south. My guess is that we will use tactical nuclear weapons to stop the advance of this million man army. It will soon come to the point that we will give up most of South Korea in the initial invasion or stop them with these pre positioned tactical nuclear weapons. I do not believe that we will make the same mistakes as we made in the last Korean war. I find it easily predictable that we will employ the same type of battle plan we had in place in Europe that was to be used to stop massive invading Russian army.

Would Obama respond the way you say? I doubt it.

You are thinking economically China does not. For example, their top general stated "we don't care if you nuke us and kill billions, we have billions more." Economic thinkers are forever victims of those who don't think economically. More facts must be gathered: such as China's airforce, have they moved their planes close to the border? Are what ships they have going to sea?

It is extremely dangerous in Korea right now.

Yes, I do. Overconfidence, a mass sudden attack by the combined forces of China and North Korea. North Korea is technologically retarded compared to us. However, they have 1 million armed and trained men compared to our 28,000; they have introduced a tank that is the equivalent to our M-1 in an unknown quantity, they will have China’s airforce to cover their ground troops, China has the missle power and technology to mount nukes on missles. We will not effectively interfere with the drive South. The Divine One in the White House, in between parties, will surrender and call “surrender” by another name; the press will immediately swing into their treasonous mode blaring pro-North Korean messages daily. In short, WE ARE FACING A VERY DANGEROUs TIME. WHO KNOWS WHAT THOSE PEOPLE HAVE IN MIND?

That is economic thinking. What if North Korea and China do not think in economic terms?

I think South Korea has some troops, so it wouldn’t just be our 28,000. I would also assume we have subs off the coast. We have (I think) 38,000 troops in Japan as well.

As for America surrendering, all I have to say is “Nuts”.
