He added, "I've run a lot of races like this one, but I never saw bomb dogs at the starting line of any running event. It led me to believe that something like (a bomb detonation) might have happened."

I’ve watched the Bostom Marathon every year for over 30 years. I don’t ever remember seeing so many uniformed military personnel marching around as I saw today.
It seems like they might have known something beforehand.
Looks like those dogs are useless as is their training.
Someone should get a big pay cut... or fired.

I think so. It seemed strange to me when I saw all the military there.
I think they were warned, tried to prevent it and failed. Now they’ll say they had no warning, cya coverup ensues.

I see many here believe it is because the “powers that be” believed something might go down.
How about they knew something WAS going down. Maybe complicit in the tragedy or complacent.
Either way, I don’t believe much of anything coming out of our current govt. or the so called media.

Seems kinda odd that the bombs were detonated 3 hours after the winners crossed the finish line, or not long after, when the sidewalks were probably busier . . .
The security services were using sniffer dogs earlier at the start and finish lines . . . but no dogs are in evidence in the images of the blasts . . .
So maybe the bombers were put off initially and came back later to set the bombs when the scene was a little quieter?
Having bomb sniffing dogs before a big event like this is not unusual. They do it at almost every major event. They were all over the NASCAR race on Sunday in Arlington.
I’m guessing this guy has already gotten a call from the government inviting him to shut up.
It made more sense to bomb at the beginning of the race when the runners are all bunched up but they may have been scared off by the dogs.

Much much better than not being prepared at all.
BTW I have been to several events where they run dogs through, parades and a fireworks show. One venue a black-suited guy had an IdentiFinder, an isotope detector.

They were talking about it on FoxNews this morning so they probably got a call too.
