Good News! Non-farm payrolls increase by 165,000 and the unemployment rate declined to 7.5%.
Bad News! It had to be helped by a 193,000 increase due to the BLS Birth/Death adjustment. That is a net LOSS of 28,000 jobs! And 9.55 million Americans have given up looking for work. Not to mention 89,936,000 NOT in the labor force.

And the stock market continues to take any manufactured data as a reason to climb to new highs. I wonder how much of the money the Fed is pumping in will be bled off to those who can afford to move in big enough ways to move the market in the requisite directions for their benefit.

gov schools are suspending kids for having anything that looks like a gun even a finger pointed like a gun
and democrats want to grow government even more
I fear though that the rich govt workers with their pay increases will sustain a false economic picture......they'll be the only ones buying houses and cars and taking vacations.
