The Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Al, the Church of England Bishop Emeritus of Rochester, has exposed the latest example of PC revisionism that seeks to whitewash the history of Islam, in this case school children are not being taught of the involvement of Muslims in the slave trade, with blame solely being placed at the door of the British and Americans.
‘Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Al claims that, in addition to ignoring the current persecution of Christians in the Islamic world, secular Britain brushes aside historical evidence of Muslim aggression.
“If you ignore what really happened to give a lopsided view of history in the interests of political correctness, you can’t blame [young] people if they move to something else that has a less critical view of itself,” he says. Christianity appears so apologetic that students naturally gravitate towards self-confident Islam. Meanwhile, “the Churches’ engagement with the secular world becomes capitulation to it”.
As an example of political correctness in schools, the bishop discusses the way black pupils are taught about slavery.
He says: “If you teach black people from African or the Caribbean that slavery was perpetrated on them [only] by England and the whites in the United States, they are then given a narrative that Islam is the great liberator from slavery – without mentioning that the Arab slave traders were on the east coast of Africa and West Africa before the British and the Americans.
“You are never told about how in the attempt to end the slave trade, the evangelicals from the Churches were opposed by Arab slave traders. I have walked along the path that Livingstone took, and as churches were built along that path the Arab slave traders were burning them down.”‘
Protect the Pope comment: Just as the aggression of Muslims, and their oppression of Christians, has been whitewashed in the revisionist history of the Crusades it appears that school children are being indoctrinated with a PC history of the slave trade that exonerates, by omission, the pivotal involvement of Muslim slavers. This toxic cocktail of the secularists’ PC hatred of their own Christian heritage and Muslim proselytism is a growing threat to the freedom, and existence, of Christianity in this country.

Most of this crap goes way back to the plagiarized story “Roots,” that farcical portrayal of white running the blacks down in the depths of the jungles rather than showing that the blacks were neatly brought by their own race to the shores.
Then you had that stupid story of Amistad where they neatly removed reference to his later history of being a slave trader himself.
This all ties neatly with the dead white racist founding fathers crap being spewed on our children by the NEA across the country.
They also seem to bypass slavery practiced by pre-Columbian indians.

The Internet came along at just the right moment in history. You can’t rip ALL of the copies of the pages from it.
I worked with several yuppie black families who are taking enormous strides to visit Africa to see their roots.
One is visiting Tanzania while the other one is going to Ghana to tour the ‘slave prisons’.
Has to be one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever heard.

A while back there was a PBS show where the black host went back to East Africa to find his ruts. While there, he let the cat out of the bag and explained that there was NO WAY that whites were about to travel up the river in that territory, as it was (an is, for that matter) way, way, too dangerous.
No, instead, they paid locals to go upriver, capture people (often from a different tribe), and bring them to the boats.
It was REALLY, REALLY, tough on him. All his life he was trained to hate whitey, but here it was, right in front of him, what really happened (i.e., their history records there, including story telling in tribal families, is actually quite accurate). He was pained but had to admit that without the assistance of people of his race, there never would have a been a slave trade. Kudos to PBS also, for broadcasting the correct history of that ugly period.

The video is 45 minutes long, but worth every second.
Of particular interest to me were the two animated maps showing every muslim attack/massacre in 20 year increments during the two baddest periods of muslim expansion and, by way of contrast, a similar map displaying the attacks by the "intolerant" crusaders."
I downloaded the entire thing, and hope to figure out how to isolate the videos of those animated maps for widespread distribution.
