A true secure border with ALL entry points is MUCH cheaper than welfare. Start with the physical entry borders— Mexico, and yes, Canada. Strict immigration criteria.
E-verify, require employers to do so. Amnesty rewards the illegals and the illegal employers— which is why they support it for the cheap labor and abuses they can continue.
It is labor-neutral.. which is why Trumka and others do not care about illegals— they don’t get money from them.
Result: self-deportation, and re-employment of out of work Americans(who will need the jobs in the coming crash).

The lie begins and ends with, and the entire debate hinges around this, getting money from people who don’t have it. They may pay into SS if they get an on the books job. Thats already a big if. The vast majority will with refund not only end up not paying federal, state or city taxes but get back more than they paid.
