For the last few years, we've been bombarded with the false narrative that the right and the Republicans are waging a war on women. While we know that this is patently false, you'll hear the same old tired refrain from the progressive left over and over again. If a Republican gets caught in any type of compromising position, the left and the media go into a frenzy. Frankly, if a Republican is caught doing something wrong, such as cheating on their wife or sleeping with prostitutes, I believe they should be chastised and chucked out. However, what is good for the goose is good for the gander. Yet, the progressive left always remains eerily silent when their own side is caught wronging women.
From the way progressive liberals talk, you would think those of their ideological ilk are veritable saints (if progressives actually believed in religion), but the actual truth is far different. Democrats have an incredibly sordid history of abusing women. Some pillars of gentlemanly persuasion on the liberal side include such luminaries as Bill Clinton, Mark Spitzer, Anthony Weiner, John Edwards, Ted Kennedy, and Bill Maher. There are tons more, but this short list just shows the blatant hypocrisy of the left in this regard. As one would realize, the progressive left was curiously mum when the question arose about how these men treated women. Liberal groups such as the National Organization of Women even attacked the accusers of Bill Clinton when his serial abuse of women came to light. Now this trend continues with the groping and sexual harassment scandal of Bob Filner, mayor of San Diego.
So far, three accusers have come out against Bob Filner, accusing him of sexual harassment. The women have detailed encounters where Filner attempted to kiss them, grope them, and suggest consummating their relationship. The women are credible people who are (and should be) taken seriously. If Bob Filner was a Republican, this would be front page news and every network would lead with the story on their nightly news shows. However, since Filner is a Democrat, all we hear is resounding...silence.
The national media has largely ignored the scandal. Women's groups are silent. Nancy Pelosi, who worked with Filner for 10 years in Congress, said, "Don't identify him as my former colleague. What goes on in San Diego is up to the people of San Diego. I'm not here to make any judgments." Just imagine how Pelosi would react if Filner was a conservative. You and I both know that her attitude would be completely different if that was the case.
Such silence on Bob Filner on the part of the progressive left just continues to expose their unholy marriage with dishonesty and hypocrisy. They choose to only target non-liberals who abuse women, but if liberals abuse women, then that's a different story. You would think that those who profess to respect women would hold a woman's value in of herself, and not related directly proportional to the political party of her abuser. Of course, what can you expect from those who worship at the altar of abortion, where baby girls are murdered in the thousands every day, or who continue to push economic policies that continue to hurt working women much worse than men? The War on Women is happening, but it is the progressive left who is waging it.

New York could elect an exhibitionist with a Jimmy Durante nose to be Mayor.
Gloria Alred at least got involved in this.
So the harm done to the women is more important than the harm she will perpetrate on a party friendly politician.

Conservatives are held to a higher standard. We are better people than the Filners and the Weiners, and so if/when a conservative does act out - natural repercussions apply.
When a liberal does these liberal things - it is also natural and normal for them. They get a free pass becuase they are not expected to have the common decency and normal moral behaviours we have.
I used to complain about this double standard. But then I came to understand libs are sick delusional people and are better left to their own destructive behaviours.
Dems can do whatever they want, as long as the are deemed to be “down for the struggle,” which means promoting an extremist agenda.
I just chalk it up to the Demonrat War on Women.
Start the scroll, “But it doesn’t matter, because he’s a Democrat”.
The feminist leaders are just providing cover so the Democrat leaders can loot the public treasuries.

When Republicans mess up the Democrat machine helps pushes him/her out.
When Democrats mess up the Republican machine is silent cause it is too busy pushing out Conservatives.
The Left is too busy trying to dig up groping dirt on Repubs. When they find some (or make some up), they’ll open up with both barrels (while ignoring the Weiner scandal - which is the whole point of digging up dirt on Repubs - and on and on and on....).
The left have chosen to ignore all of 0bama’s many scandals. The media is helping them by not bringing anything up. It is absolutely shameful the way all these scandals are treated. Think about Anthony Weiner. If he had been a Republican, he would not have even been allowed to consider running for Mayor of NY.
