Phony Scandals? What Phony Scandals?

Once again, we are seeing President Obama traveling around America and going into full campaign mode. In this round of speeches, he is accusing the rest of Washington, meaning everyone who doesn't agree with his progressive policies, of being distracted by phony scandals. He must be trying to get a head start on the upcoming budget battles and on the 2014 campaign for the control of Congress. In doing so, he is ignoring the facts, nothing unusual for him to do that, and doing what he can to accuse his political opponents of the political posturing and games that he is guilty of himself.

I am beginning to wonder if President Obama really believes that if he ignores the scandals that have plagued his administration long enough, they will just disappear into the political winds of oblivion. I am convinced that he really does believe that he can ignore the facts, act as if nothing has happened, and get away with it because the media is firmly planted in his back pocket.Because the media refuses to question President Obama and his administration in any meaningful way, he can make statements like this, which are accepted at face value and never questioned.

With this endless parade of distractions and political posturing and phony scandals, Washington has taken its eye off the ball.

Phony scandals? Does President Obama really want to use that narrative? Benghazi and four dead Americans is a phony scandal? Fast and Furious, running guns into Mexico is a phony scandal? Ordering the IRS to investigate conservative groups, denying them a fair hearing on their tax exempt status is a phony scandal? Targeting the media for investigation and wire tapping because they published a story the administration wanted kept quite is a phony scandal?

Need we any more proof that this President is a liar and has no intention of telling the truth to the American people? He has surrounded himself with people who are cut from the same mold as he is. That's why we now have an administration that is one of the most corrupt in American history.

If you have followed Political Realities for very long, you will know I am no huge fan of Rush Limbaugh. I agree with some of what he says, but I am certainly no dittohead, as some of his fans like to call themselves. I did, however, catch a portion of his show a few days ago and he was explaining something that he calls the Limbaugh Theorem. Agree or disagree with his style and his tactics, it can not be denied that Rush Limbaugh has this right.

Rush Limbaugh - Basically I evolved the Limbaugh Theorem to explain something that didn't make any sense to me. I saw polls which showed the American people by vast majorities supported Obama's agenda, and yet every aspect of it they opposed. They didn't associate him with it. It was a New York Times story. I'll never forget it. The American people opposed the direction the country's going, and issue by issue by issue they opposed everything Obama was doing. Every element of the Obama agenda, a majority of the people oppose it, and yet they support him by 50, 55%. I said, "How can this be?"

There's only one answer. People do not associate Obama with his agenda, and that's because he's permanently campaigning. He's running against his own agenda, by design, on purpose. He's running against what's happening. He makes people think that he doesn't like what's happening and he's trying to fix it when in fact everything that's happening is precisely because he wants it to and has made it happen. So here comes a story in the Wall Street Journal. It's an opinion piece by a guy named Jason Riley. And it's entitled, "Obama's Poll Numbers."

And here's how it starts: "How is it that President Obama, despite the recent scandals, has been able to maintain an approval rating in the mid- to high-40s, or about where it's been for the better part of three years? A new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll may provide some clues. For starters, the public doesn't seem to be blaming the president for the Benghazi terrorist attack, the IRS targeting of conservative groups or the Justice Department snooping."

The public does not blame the president for anything that's happening, and this guy says, how can this be? How is it that President Obama is able to remain unattached from his own policies, his own administration? The Limbaugh Theorem explains it.

Is this not exactly what we are seeing from Obama? Is it not exactly what we have seen from Obama from the beginning of his political career? He sets a lot of policies in motion, ie. the sequester, and blames someone else for the results. All the while, he is campaigning to the American people and the media and poor John Boehner simply can't keep up.

In closing this post, which is already long enough, I want to use something from Alan Caruba. He nailed the phony scandals narrative in his column from July 26.

Renew America - It is absolutely astonishing that Obama could refer to "phony scandals" when the list of genuine scandals keeps growing. Despite the best efforts of the mainstream media to deflect attention from them, they have become a constant factor from Obama's first term to his second. To dismiss them as "phony" is a display of arrogance that is breathtaking.

Arrogance, indeed, is what we are seeing from President Obama and his minions. They actually believe they can get away with ignoring the facts and the evidence. If the media has their way, getting away with it is exactly what will happen. All of these phony scandals will be swept under the proverbial rug in some dark room, never again to see the light of day. It's up to people like you and me to make sure that doesn't happen.

When the big O states things like this, it is the exact opposite of what he says. The series of scandals are real and Washington is focusing exactly where they should be, $1 trillion deficit not included.

The "phony scandal" that's being TOTALLY ignored to the point of media blackout: What really happened to the helicopter which crashed in Afghanistan killing members of Navy SEAL Team 6? Who were the "Afghan soldiers" brought aboard that helicopter at the last minute? Why were all the bodies cremated? Finally, why was an imam brought in to do the "funeral service" for these men?

If any of this is true it means

1) The CinC HAD to know, and authorized whatever happened.

2) Those high up in the pentagon likewise had to know.

3) This should be a truly impeachable offense.

Don't expect our media to go anywhere near this, not when we have the president focusing on the passion of St Skittles down in Fla.

I've heard the best defense is a good offense.

I've had a hunch President You Didn't Build That and his "administration" are stalling: buying time for:

1.) The failed main stream "news" media to soothe popular uncertainty.
2.) The national economy to present a sufficiently serious crisis to take advantage of.

I believe the current manufactured uproar over the "racist" Zimmerman verdict and "racist" stand your ground laws are key components of the "news" media's efforts to distract us, the people from YDBT's numerous abysmal failures.

Stall and distract, distract and stall, divide and conquer, and keep stalling and distracting: so far, it seems to be working very well.

Too many on both sides are playing with this. It’s the second time the President of the United States has interjected himself into a confrontation between those in authority on legal grounds reasonably questioned and released someone involved in a curious activity.

In both cases those representing “authority” were reported as “white” . In the second case the person working security was attacked after questioning an activity while on private rights of way and allowing the person to continue on their way. Who doubled back and attacked the “neighborhood watch” worker beating him severly on the ground and subsequently killed in a struggle over the Neighborhood Watchmans legal pistol.

In the second case both were dark skined.

Since the Zimmernan not guilty verdict has been rendered, the facts of this case are still being shamefully being concealed by the media to the extent they are advancing and are complicit in permitting a putrid injstice to be committed of the worst order,organized and instituted by our governent.While denied. It began as a miscalculation when a surname of a Jewish origin shot up and lighted the heavens like a star shell in the darkest of nights. It would have been difused if the media used pictures of both side by side because they look like cousins. And the area where this occured of paycheck to paycheck struggling homeowners of all races trying to protect themselves had been reported and not some ritzy all white enclave.they portrayed..

Instead the party that hypenated itself from God at their 2012 convention into demo-coms, and believe that all groups should be hyphenated , Afro-American, Hispanic-American, etc..Decided Zimmerman to be the egg that is to be broken,. sacrificed, so that we have an omlet..Just like Stalin did to the Ukrainian land owners known as Kulacks whom he executed, (and used that egg example) in a soclal engineering plan to organize collectives during a Russian drought..Because as we have learned there seems to be the intention to use a collective data base to create collectives.where a utopia of uniforimity of conformity exists. As was done in Detroit, and Oakland California.only this time a poor whitey or blacky won’t be able to move,.

Just as with the energy plan where the cost of fuel used for energy and transportation has skyrocketed placing those on fixed or limited incomes dependent on government handouts because of this regimes socialist policies the sacrifice of Zimmerman must die for . This time to another communist plan. We all move together in centers designed and approved by comrades running the collective who (just like Obamacare aren’t in it) won’t and never live there.

Why is this being done ? Who accompained Obama on his many trips around the world at taxpayer expence ? Were they the heavy hitters or their friends holding the president’s hand ? Never looked into either by the House and certainly not even speculated about or reported on by the media. Seems like that could be considered pay back at US taxpayer expence. Isn’t that an impeachable offense ? Now if somebody even suggests impeachment. What better way to discourage that by organizing the base for riots in the streets ?

If his opposition keeps being lazy with calling the events surrounding the “phony scandals” the scandals themselves, He’ll get away with it.

Four dead Americans and others wounded in Benghazi is not a scandal, it’s terrible that it occurred, that the State Department didn’t respond to request to boost security but that’s not the scandal. Repeatedly mischaracterizing the attack as being caused by a youtube video is the scandal. Calling off military assets that were in position to help and could have saved lives is the scandal. Hiding witnesses from congress is the scandal.

The IRS targeting political opponents of the President is not a scandal. The IRS doing so at the direction of political appointees is the scandal. The White house repeatedly deflecting blame to lower level employees is the scandal. The idea that nobody will be effectively punished with criminal prosecution is the scandal.

Brian Terry’s death is not the scandal. The DOJ making conscious decisions to allow criminal gangs to arm themselves and leave the country with those firearms is the scandal.
