Republican Ken Cuccinelli has taken the lead in one Virginia gubernatorial poll as a federal investigation involving his Democratic opponent Terry McAuliffe’s business practices threatens to become “very damaging” for the Democrat.
An impending Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Inspector General’s report is expected to be “very damaging” for McAuliffe, a Virginia political insider told The Daily Caller.
“If your name is being brought up in Senate confirmation hearings, it’s not likely that it’s going to blow over,” according to the insider.

this is still a lifetime away. I expect a full court press smear campaign by the WaPo and the Roanoke newspaper that published gun owners data.
I’m with ya. I remember the bad ole Clinton days and Terru McAuliffe was key to funding the Clintons.
Terry McAuliffe isn’t well liked even among Democrats and his team’s effort to focus on fringe issues isn’t working. The Democrats couldn’t find anyone better to run so Terry is up for bat again.
McAulliffe is a carpet bagger and Demonrat party hack. The Cooch, as some in VA call him, is a far better choice.
Now if only Virginia could flush Warner.
I totally agree. I was hoping that McDonnel would be up to replacing him but this past year and the recent scandal makes that hope unlikely but who knows. Warner is good at playing the good ole boy part and talking bipartisan while voting extreme left.
Yes and he still isn’t selling well. Terry McAuliffe just comes off as phony.
