Middle and high school students in San Diego, California will be encouraged to vent their frustration that the world lacks justice when they return to school and participate in the “Trayvon Martin dialogues” this fall.
The board of San Diego Unified Schools unanimously approved a proposal recently to establish classroom forums to discuss the death of Trayvon Martin, a black teenager who was shot during an altercation with a Hispanic man, George Zimmerman, in Florida last year. A jury recently acquitted Zimmerman, who claimed that Martin struck first and shot him in self-defense.
The sponsors of San Diego’s Trayvon Martin dialogues, however, believe the resolution of the case has produced in teenagers “feelings of fear, anger, and skepticism that they will live in a just society,” according to The College Fix.
The full proposal calls for forum participants to explicitly condemn “stand your ground” laws, which permit citizens to use force to defend themselves in dangerous situations instead of retreating. Florida’s law was erroneously credited with prompting the conflict between Martin and Zimmerman, though the matter never became a significant factor at the trial, since Zimmerman had no option to retreat, according to his official testimony.

That’ll go over real well until some right thinking student logically and factually explains that St. Skittles was a punk and a thug. That Martin attacked George - not the other way around. That Skittle and Ice Tea were in fact 2/3 of the ingredients used to get high in the ghettos. That traces of marijuana were found in Trayvon’s body. That the jury made the right call. And on and on.....
I’d love to be there and watch the liberal educators heads go esploding.
All this pushback and false narrative about the Treyvon case is going to come back to bite Dems in the arse. The moderates watched the trial as well and see this for what it really is...
In other words force kids to go to the front of the class and repeat the leftist mantra.

It is Kalipornia, parents accept anything. They added pro-gay propaganda to every single class - even math- now they will allow self-declared tranny boys shower with girls from the 6th grade.

The world lacks common sense and the reading comprehension skills to understand that the only “travesty of justice” was the Nifongism perpetrated by the MSM and courts system against Mr. Zimmerman.
The trial will be forgotten but the propaganda will continue until it becomes “the truth”
They are skeptical that they will live in a just society?
Perhaps they will be somewhat less skeptical when they defended themselves against an attacking drug user and wind up in a courtroom looking for that Not Guilty verdict.
