Make the furlough permanent. Non-essential federal employees get full pay when the furloug ends. Make sure it never ends.
And add a bunch more to ‘non-essential’ until the federal government can live within its means.
2014 shoudl be easy to win, run against dems and elites in NY and DC, both parties..

The only thing keeping ‘US’ in this game is BO, Reid, Pelosi or Biden manage to make an idiotic statement or two every day...Reid and Obozo keep standing up and saying “NO NEGOTIATION” while the press ALLOWS BO to say “I am open to negotiation” with no repercussions. Of course it is a great day when Reid shouts “IT IS DOA”, then ‘they’ allow him to get away with “They have to send me something”.
Even the dumbest of the dumb will eventually figure this out. Well, eventually can mean when it is too late, but I have (a) little hope for the immediate future.

It is just amazing. These guys are always talking about unity and not being extreme but who do they criticize? Its Ted Cruz. A guy who is trying to change the game and pull DC and America out of the ditch by force of will. I can’t believe that GOP in his district want this kind of whimpish bifurcation.

They drew his district from the liberal Lehigh Valley west to the Harrisburg suburbs. In the west there are conservatives who would vote for a challenger for sure in the Republican primary next year.
